Day 414 / Open action
Jack's out and about today but he's starting to like Mistletoe Days less and less the longer he's here. And especially just now – given the current delicate state of his blue-band relationship, getting caught by a bot today just seems like it'll be asking for trouble!

Nevertheless, he will inevitably get caught. A man can't live without his coffee, and he's determined to make up for his binge drinking over the last couple of days (or twenty years) by getting back into his early morning swim routine.

He's kind of looking for Ianto too. A little too nervous to actually call him and get this talking thing started, more kind of hoping he'll just run into him and – well. Things will just happen.

That confession makes fresh tears start down his cheeks, as it all crashes in on him in the wake of his climax - how close he came to losing all of this, losing Ianto, and how very lucky he is to have been forgiven.

"I love you too," he chokes out, leaning down on his forearms, hands cradling Ianto's face as he leans in to kiss him deeply, a billion different threads of apology and want and need and love enfolded in that one simple gesture.

	That kiss is all the proof he needs that they still communicate so well because it says everything. He arches up into it, clinging to Jack and knowing he must be able to feel the way he's shaking as he starts to come down from the endorphin rush. Add in the emotional impact and he's crashing hard right now even if all he wants to do is lay here in his arms. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

He's trembling more than a bit himself with the intensity of it all and it takes a moment before he realises that more of the shaking is coming from Ianto than it is from himself. His fingers stroke Ianto's hair as he gradually stills the kiss, and then slowly forces himself to lift up and pull out of him.

"Come here," he says, pulling Ianto into his arms, half on top of him so his weight isn't on his abused ass any more. He reaches down to pull up the covers, tucking them in around Ianto and then enfolding him in his arms. "We can do this," he says softly. "It's going to be all right."

	He whimpers as Jack pulls him onto his side, trying to force himself to relax. Those words get a shaky smile from him and he settles himself against his shoulder, feeling the shaking start to subside. "I know it is. It finally feels like it will be." (Reply to this) (Parent)
