Day 389 | Angry/Sobbing Action
[It might not be too difficult to spot this guy...

Between the lingering expression of anger resting on his face -- as well as the way his jawline is completely tense -- it might be clear to some that he's new to this place. Of course, if those aren't telling signs, there's always the weird thing attached to his ankle (but mostly the fact that he's still wearing the hideous outfit he woke up in). Yoon is, without a doubt, frustrated and completely worried about the ~~idiots~~ people he'd last been with. On top of the fact that they're notorious for drawing attention to themselves, there's... the matter of him... actually caring a lot about their safety.

Damn it... are they even here?!

He can honestly be found all over the place. Due to the fact that he's trying to cover as much ground as quickly as possible... he's not going to be lingering in one place for very long, however. He will trek through every Sector if he's able to, refusing to let weariness stop him from ensuring that he actually is... all alone in this place.

While swallowing down a painful lump, he eventually does take a break. It's at this point, he can be found in a corner, doing everything to keep his face hidden. He doesn't like people seeing or even knowing when he's crying. All around him are strangers, too, so like hell he's going to let them witness this!!!]

Damn it...!

[The words slip out through clenched teeth as one hand balls into a hard fist. It will be after the tears finally stop coming, that he furiously wipes at his face and begins the search yet again. In spite of the heaviness of his legs, in spite of the weight resting on his chest, seemingly making it difficult to breath... he can't -- he won't give up on his search...]

[Without intending to, his expression softens a bit in surprise at Jae-Ha's choice of words. Now that he's actually... considering the possibility of him not being an outright villain, he does have to admit that he seems a little different from when he'd first encountered him. With a heavy sigh, he frowns and deliberately gives a slight roll of his eyes, forcing away the softened expression.

Also... Him? not having an open mind? He's very open-minded, thanks.

...Okay, so there have been a few times (read: QUITE a few times) when he judged people he'd never even gotten to know, first. Like... Yona, for instance. And... well, isn't that what he's doing to Jae-Ha, right now? A quiet sound of frustration slips free as a hint of color rises to his cheeks. Sighing in annoyance, he avoids looking at the dragon as he speaks.] Stop stalling and just come out with it, already!

[STOP MAKING HIM FEEL BAD ABOUT THINGS, SHEESH.]

[To a degree Jae-Ha does have to bite back back with a dry remark. Yoon has always been this way, anyway. Jae-Ha considers him a part of his home and family all the same.

In the end, now, maybe even more than ever, does he need to step up as the big brother sort that he's proclaimed himself to be.

. . .First, though, he just lets out a breath.]

We're nowhere near home. I don't mean we're in a different country or the like— what I mean is we're not even on our own world. The people here are in the exact same position.

[He isn't even going to bring up the whole "universe" thing. . . Mostly as he, himself, still can't grasp the idea at all.]

Even the flow of time isn't steady, here. It fluctuates. For example, my last memories of home clearly do not match up with yours, seeing how you surprised you were with how I knew your name. For me, Yoon, it's been months since we met. It's been just as long since we left Awa, and when I last saw my Captain and her crew. Additionally there's the fact that time is also different back home- I've already been here for three weeks.

[Should he pause yet?]

I'm sure what you've at the very least recognized, too, is this place is so far advanced from home that it's practically incomprehensible. There's a great deal to learn. . . but at the very least, I have the utmost belief and faith that you'll catch on quickly.

[This is far beyond anything he could have managed would come out of this man's mouth. If he's trying to trick him, he's definitely gone to incredibly lengths... But, there's no denying that he's right: Yoon has noticed just how advanced this place is. If anything, he's momentarily stunned speechless by the extent of it all, even if he does have plans to thoroughly explore the place once he's... gotten himself together.

Lips drawing together tightly, to the point where they turn completely white, he shakes his head.] So, what you're saying is...

[He holds a blink as he exhales, and then he's giving a shortened version:] You wound up traveling with us, and it's been months since then... All right, then you should be able to answer a few things. I'll even start with something incredibly easy: What weapon do I fight with?

[Sure, it's a trick question, but it should be a no-brainer for anyone who travels with them... In any case, his attention is attempting to solely focus on one particular thing that Jae-Ha had mentioned. They're on a different... world, apparently. And there are people who come from even more worlds? If this is true, then this implies there are countless worlds with countless people. To even fathom this is...]

... [Fluctuating times, multiple worlds... It's a lot to take in. Almost too much. Maybe it's not helping that he hasn't eaten since he arrived. There's been a lot of crying today, too, and he's barely even had water. Maybe he should--...

...should...

The world sways just a little, and he just barely manages to stop himself from falling forward. A quiet sound slips out as he puts a hand to his head, frowning.] ...--guess I should have taken up the offer of food, earlier.

[Well, he's catching on. Even if there's plenty of obvious sarcasm laced within those words. As expected.

Jae-Ha can't not chuckle with the question. Of course he's being tested!]

Your mind, of course. You're incredibly quick to both form strategies and solve problems, and maybe even more so when it comes to learning new things. [He just grins, because it's always been amusing-] And then there's your secret 'weapon' of being the group's self-proclaimed Pretty Boy.

[Ah-!] You do a very fine job of keeping us all well fed, too.

[Speaking of, though, he's alarmed when Yoon is suddenly lightheaded. He's quick to catch him before he falls.]

There's plenty here. You should probably rest a bit as well.
