Day 389 | Angry/Sobbing Action
[It might not be too difficult to spot this guy...

Between the lingering expression of anger resting on his face -- as well as the way his jawline is completely tense -- it might be clear to some that he's new to this place. Of course, if those aren't telling signs, there's always the weird thing attached to his ankle (but mostly the fact that he's still wearing the hideous outfit he woke up in). Yoon is, without a doubt, frustrated and completely worried about the ~~idiots~~ people he'd last been with. On top of the fact that they're notorious for drawing attention to themselves, there's... the matter of him... actually caring a lot about their safety.

Damn it... are they even here?!

He can honestly be found all over the place. Due to the fact that he's trying to cover as much ground as quickly as possible... he's not going to be lingering in one place for very long, however. He will trek through every Sector if he's able to, refusing to let weariness stop him from ensuring that he actually is... all alone in this place.

While swallowing down a painful lump, he eventually does take a break. It's at this point, he can be found in a corner, doing everything to keep his face hidden. He doesn't like people seeing or even knowing when he's crying. All around him are strangers, too, so like hell he's going to let them witness this!!!]

Damn it...!

[The words slip out through clenched teeth as one hand balls into a hard fist. It will be after the tears finally stop coming, that he furiously wipes at his face and begins the search yet again. In spite of the heaviness of his legs, in spite of the weight resting on his chest, seemingly making it difficult to breath... he can't -- he won't give up on his search...]

[The touch definitely surprises him. It's... gentle, though, and it actually reminds him of--

...Well, the voice stops that thought before it can even properly form. In spite of having been startled, his body isn't especially tense. Even if that voice isn't the one he was... honestly hoping to hear, there's something about it that has him.........

...Well, anyway.] ...I'm fine.

[Other than a glance back, he doesn't do much to make it easy to see the tear-streaked face. It's only after taking enough time to carefully wipe the tears away (he doesn't want to make his face even redder than it already is, after all)... that he finally turns to properly face her.

There's the softest of blinks as he momentarily studies her; she's... surprisingly pretty. Not that the thought lingers in his mind for long, since there are plenty of other ones to focus on. He almost awkwardly looks to the side.] I just got some dust in my eyes.

[...He already knows that's not remotely believable, though. With a sigh, he tries to will away the heat forming on his cheeks. Time to try focusing her attention on something else.] ...Have you been here long?

[In the end, Yuuki simply lets him compose himself. There's no reason to point out his tears or make him feel somehow worse than he already is. The first day here is always the worst day, and there's any number of questions that he must have.

With a sympathetic smile, she scratches one of her cheeks.]

I hate when that happens. [Getting 'dust in the eyes'. She wont argue that she knows better.]

I've-- been here a while. [If she tells him how long, he might grow a little more upset.] But I've been here long enough to be able to answer most questions you might have.

[She lifts a hand up to point to her chest.] I'm on the defense force! So ask me anything! I'd be glad to help.

[Oh-]

I'm Yuuki, by the way.

[He has a sneaking suspicion that she's simply going along with his claim, considering that smile. It's... kind of nice, even if a tiny part of him feels as though he's being treated like a child. He suppresses a sigh.

A... while, huh? Either she's lost track of time, or she simply doesn't want to tell him. He's willing to bet on the latter. With his lips drawing together tightly, he considers outright asking her to elaborate. But... she's very quickly moving onto something else. That just further proves his guess, doesn't it? With a wry smile, his mouth goes crooked with a hint of frustration.] ...

["Defense force?" With a faint furrowing on his brow, he gives a curious sound.] I'm Yoon. [...] What's the defense force?

[He's right to the point, isn't he. Well, it's a fair question, especially inside prison. She bows briefly, before launching into her explanation.]

It's nice to meet you, Yoon-kun.

[Polite!]

The defense force is a group of people who have come together to try and protect the people who have been kidnapped to this place. Whether it's from some of the weird things the wardens are responsible for, or because someone who probably does deserve prison has arrived. [Lifting a hand up she taps her chin.] Something like our own militia? Or... [She's not sure what else to call it.]

Anyway, we're dedicated to protecting people, and we're also trying to find a way out of this place.

He listens to the explanation in silence, carefully taking in the details. So, there's a group of people that has formed for the sake of protecting everyone innocent. Just...how many innocent people have wound up in this place, for this to be a necessity? And just what kinds of things have happened, for someone to even think to suggest it?

With a frown marring his brow, he decides to go ahead and ask -- though, he'd be lying if no part of him was worried about what the answer might be.] Exactly what kinds of weird things are the wardens responsible for?

Sometimes it's just something silly or maybe just strange.

[There's really not just one thing. It's difficult because things can go from alright to terrible in the span of a week.]

They can do things that make people act contrary to their personality. Other times people might wind up having strange animal like ears or tails, while others people will be trapped inside a small bubble and forced to kiss in order to leave.

[The last one being more embarrassing than anything else.]

But in the past, some of those events have had poor results. If a person's personality is changed to something too extreme... who knows what they might do while affected. Or, as a different example, if a human was made into a vampire for the day... depending on the type, it could be disastrous.

[She frowns...]

What is worse, is that glitches have happened from time to time. I... [Her frown deepen] I don't....really want to scare or alarm you too much with those sorts of stories... [Does he want to know? She thinks everyone deserves to, but he might have to prepare himself more for them.]
