Day 374 | Shared Dreaming
Dream 1 - The Wedding

Perhaps you're a guest, or maybe you're a member of the wedding party. Either way, you're here enjoying Martha's wedding. Perhaps you get to see her walking down the aisle, or you're busy throwing rose petals at her, or perhaps you've managed to get her onto the dance floor! She loves to dance.

Dream 2- The Wedding Night

Martha's too busy being practical while you're waiting for her. The top of the cake must go in the freezer if it's to last post honeymoon. And of course her teeth need to be brushed, though she smiles at you in the mirror when you start kissing her neck. Please don't rip the dress off, dear.

Dream 3 - Japan

You rush up the gang plank of the boat just in front of Martha. You're impressed you found it considering the fire and the spheres raining down from the sky. You hope the boat makes it out, because otherwise you'll die like everyone else. A moment longer and it starts moving, though you crowd with everyone else to the back to watch in horror as the spheres take out Japan. And you cringe when the airship comes and the Master makes his announcement to Miss Jones. Perhaps you even see someone out of the corner of your eye, wiping tears from her face and looking for cover.

The dream helps him not only feel like this is perfectly normal and natural and expected, but it also files away some of his more annoying quirks, evening him out into what could almost be mistaken for a normal, functioning human being. The toothpaste foam doesn't bother him (though it should) and when she turns he can do nothing but smile with absolute bliss.

"Right about here, I think."

And with that he leans in to kiss her, all sweet and loving like he's waited his entire life for this day.

	Martha lifts herself to her toes to make it easier on both of them. It'd be even easier still if they didn't have such a tiny bathroom. When she bumps up against the sink, she laughs. "Move to the bedroom?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Yes, please." He replies rather breathlessly, putting a hand to the small of her back so he can guide her out of the bathroom. Once through the door, Martha reaches back and takes his hand, turning so she's walking backwards. She pulls him in for another quick kiss before breaking it and tugging him towards the bed. Once there, she guides his hands back to the small of her back so he can start working on the laces keeping her trapped in the dress while she starts undoing the buttons of his shirt. Of course, buttons are easier than laces, and once she has an opening, she starts kissing a trail over his chest and up to his collarbone.

Everything about this is perfect, exactly like he imagined it would be and although he fumbles with the laces that too feels like it's part of the picture. He's safe with her. It doesn't matter that his hair is too long and his ties always crooked, and that's more than he's ever been able to hope for. Tugging at the laces, he pulls at the dress, eager to feel her skin underneath.

"I love you."

Martha looks up at him, a radiant smile gracing her face. "I feel like the luckiest woman in the world right now, getting to marry you. I love you so much."

She finally pushes the shirt over his shoulders, tracing her fingers down his spine as he does. He's still working on the laces, so she lets her fingers circle around his hips to the front of his trousers. They're annoyingly in the way.

	He abandons his task just long enough to wrestle out of the shirt, but returns as quick as he can. If his pants are annoying, what do you call her dress? Impossible. Impossible indeed though that wasn't the intention.

"If you mean because I look like a goddess in it, then yes, that's why I picked it," she counters with a grin as she unfastens the button and works at the zip of his trousers. That done, she circles her arms around his hips again, letting the fingers of her right hand ghost just along the hem of his boxers. "I'd say it did it's job just fine."

	Of course he can kiss her. He can kiss her all he wants. Martha looks up at him with a smile, though she realizes if she's going to get out of this dress anytime soon, she's going to have to do it herself. And since he's all about the kissing, she'll just start working the laces. Maybe removing her hands from his hips will help his focus anyway! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It does help. Normally he'd feel self-conscious about being such a fumbling failure of a human being but not with her. No, he feels safe with her, like he can be himself with all his flaws and she won't even be bothered by it. He kisses her hungrily, tugging and pulling at the dress and maybe with her help they can get it off. Marriage is all about teamwork. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	The dress falls to the floor revealing a very lacy bra and panty set. While trying to maintain contact with his lips, Martha steps out of the pile of skirts and tulle. Sadly, it's trickier than she can manage, and she loses her balance, falling backwards onto the bed with in a shriek of giggles. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Oh wow. He didn't know there was any blood left in his head to move south but there we go. He releases a shuddering breath, just looking down on her for a moment. Is he ever the luckiest guy alive. 	Martha's hands tangle in his hair as she pulls his head closer, kissing as though her life depended on it. It felt like it'd be ages since she'd last had sex, though she couldn't figure out why. It has been awhile, hasn't it? He feels it thrum in his veins, the eagerness of getting to do something that's been kept from him for awhile. Maybe it's just marital jitters. Of course they've had sex leading up to the wedding, it's just anticipation making it feel like they haven't. Right?

His hand moves down to her hip, caressing the curve eagerly. A shame that he has to get her out of the lingerie, really.

	Anticipation. Sure. That's got to be it. The lingerie is nice, but Martha's ready for it to go. She lifts her hips partially to aid him, partially to press against him. Her skin tingles at his touch and she feels she should reciprocate somehow. Except he's so easily distracted. Finally she settles to just helping him get her undressed. He is easily distracted, it's true. All for good reasons tho, there's so much skin to cover, so many kisses to engage in until his lungs burn with the need for a proper breath. He works her lingerie off with her help, fumbling through it but succeeding in the end. As eager as he is, he still feels like he should say something, repeat the words so she never forgets them.

	It's kind of amazing how easy all of this is, from the angling of his hips to the way he enters her like they do this all the time, like this is a well-rehearsed choreography free of awkward elbows and oddly positioned knees. Maybe it's just something left over from the relationship he never got to have with Maeve, or frustration that things are weird with Kitty or something entirely coincidental.

Those are worries for later. Right now this is all about the moment and this and her and them. ]

[This will definitely be a wake up call regarding her marriage. Considering this is her wedding night, and Reid is not her husband. But Martha keeps pushing that pesky thought away every time it calls to her because it's not important at the moment. What's important is that she's married to the most amazing man in the world and right now, everything is so completely perfect.

That is to say, she's reaching the best climax of her life. Or maybe it's just the fact that she hasn't had sex in ages. But again, that doesn't make sense.]
