This afternoon we're going to do a thing. Be at the headquarters. If you know someone who isn't a member, but they're interested in joining you can bring them too. [She knows it may not be the best day after hearing this morning's announcement, but since the wardens played with them yesterday she knows the day should be clear of their interference and they have some new recruits so they should probably all meet each other.]

[The thing in question is on the roof of the headquarters. Kitty brought food and drinks which thankfully she did not prepare. It's all snack-sized finger foods. She wants everyone to have a chance to know their teammates better. She isn't going to force any group activities but there are some tables and chairs for people who want to relax more or maybe play a game. She did leave a few decks of cards out.]

[He shifts angrily.] It's not just about being able to have sex. I mean, it is about that, but it's more what the bands symbolise. The fact that they - make the whole thing so formal. The fact that they make people have to choose, when they should be able to - to just do what they want!

[Except that's what Ianto's done and yeah, if he admits it to himself, he's upset about more than just not being able to fuck his boyfriend.]

[She squeezes back. It's okay. She gets it. She felt the same. She still feels...things. Her life feels like it's full of a lot of complicated feelings for too many men and one very clear feeling of love for Reid that makes it easier to choose. Even if it's also harder because he doesn't always choose her.]

We have lunch dates now. Because you really want to hear about things going well with us at this moment.

I just like spending time with him again. [Which is 100% true. And she will gladly pretend she's not sexually frustrated or longing for that extra level of intimacy that comes from just sleeping next to each other or having breakfast together at home, because she knows Reid needs time. She just isn't really used to going without it and she hasn't been with anyone that way since...Jack. She might have gotten slightly carried away a few times at the mistletoe when she least expected it.]
