Good morning, residents of MarinaNova. My name is Princess Leia Organa. I'm hesitant to refer to us as "citizens," for we're all prisoners within this facility, regardless of whether we enjoy our accommodations or feel deserving of our sentences. I apologize to anyone who has recently arrived to the prison, for perhaps that makes my question poorly timed, but the influx of new inmates reminded me of something I must ask.

Who is and isn't from a planet called Earth? I am not, and I hadn't heard of it until I was brought here. I come from a world called Alderaan in a galaxy I'm sure most of you have never been to before. [ though some of them may have seen, as has been the case with a few. ] Surely I'm not the only one who finds it odd that an intergalactic, multidimensional serving rehabilitation center favors the population of this one world over those from other systems.

There are certain species and cultures that believe souls go to heaven and hell -like concepts, but it varies. I've never heard of confirmation on either before.

[ and her own perception of the afterlife is a mess right now, what with her force heritage and having contended with her father's ghost personally. it's hard to keep faith in what you used to believe when you're not who you thought you were. ]

I apologize, but it's not polite to insult the home of another. Especially based on the notion that they, personally, would consider it to be a harsh and inhospitable environment. I've been to plenty of worlds I've thought about as much of that are home to a number of species who are perfectly comfortable living there.

I am sorry to hear about how you were treated. As cruel as this place can be, I cannot ignore the fact that for some, it is a wonderful blessing in disguise.

	I've heard a lot of people say as much. Many people've already kind of hinted their surprise to how I feel about being here but I suppose it's a lot different if you have something left behind-- someone, or a home, things like that.
