Hey Kitty. I just wanted to let you know I'm going to take some time off from dispatch. Been doing it a while and I think I just need a break. I'll probably still drop by HQ every now and again and if you need me in a pinch chances are I'll be free to help out. But I've just got some stuff to sort out right now and get my head squared back on my shoulders.

More than just an attraction's a good thing. Though I understand if a fling's just a fling, too, but bands are a lot of effort for that kind of thing. Might as well stick around for the more substantial, yeah?

Was it... beautiful? When I think of it - more like am told about it - it always sounded a bit stuffy. Even what you said just now about there being a lot of rules and decorum. Maybe it's just because I don't see myself fitting in that it feels stale and uptight. I'd just like to hear that at least some parts of it were fun, fresh and exciting.

Or was it all just... balls, marriage proposals and poetry on scented paper? [She knows she's asking the vampire but part of her still wants the human answer.]

No, we sleep. Best way to pass the daylight. [ If you're safe enough to not set fire to yourself or get staked while you snooze. ] Dru was always keen on a four poster bed, but when I was on my own I slept wherever. Basements, sewers, cemeteries, abandoned factories... can't be too picky.
