Day 363 | Video
[ While he couldn't say that he was pleased being in a prison - or in this ugly orange jumpsuit - there were things to be thankful for, right?

At least anyone can notice that he seems to have taken to the food stalls right away. In particular anything that happens to contain sugar. The sweeter the better; but he does have a preference for any kind of melon flavored things.

He seems to be in a very good mood when he starts his feed. ]

Well. I can't say that I've ever been to a prison like this before, it's quite different from any that I have heard of before. But I suppose that I ought not complain, it could be like the prisons in the movies or like the last prison I visited.

[ "Visited" might be a bit wrong, he went there to break out his father. He would have preferred not to, of course, but you did what you had to do. ]

introductory matters aside... Oh, I suppose I didn't do that. I'm J. Hello. [ He waves. ] Now! On to more important matters; Veridical and Conscienti. They do say that the dome will not break from the pressure, and if that's true -- 2400 psi is not a little amount of pressure -- I am curious to know how they are able to keep the dome from breaking under such an amount of water. If it does break, we'll all die either from being hit by the water or by drowning, and I'd prefer none of those alternatives... [ Thoughtfully, he touches his chin, gaze briefly going up. ] Although I suppose that if I had to choose one or the other, I'd prefer to be crushed by the pressure. Drowning does seem so unpleasantly painful. [ His expression brightens again. ] Ah, well! Schematics and certain death aside, I think I will get along with these particular culinary experiences. [ He waves his candied melon through the air, as if the feed cutting off was made by the movement of his improvised "wand". ]

[A nod.] They all happened. I've got no reason to lie to myself.

Excellent. It is boring when people do that.

Interesting criticism. I guess you run into people lying to themselves a lot?

Way too often, unfortunately.

What do they usually lie about?

For example, that they're good people.

Well, you're in luck. That's not something I'd run around saying about myself.
