[ Deciding that makeup will probably draw more attention than the bruise itself, a freshly punched Reid hits the prison streets. He needs coffee and a bagel, so he stops by Bean Crushers, lingering in a corner booth for a while with a stack of books that are due at the library. While in Sector 2 he also takes a moment to stop by the school - he hasn't held classes in forever and he probably won't now that his teacher's aide is missing in action but he can stop by the music room and play piano for a bit. It's been weeks, if not months.

He can, of course, also be encountered on the way between places, sporting a beautiful and fresh shiner. Thanks Leia. ]

No! No... more the opposite. I mean, of course it's exciting to... to talk about ewoks with someone who's actually seen a real one instead of just a child in a suit but I've been trying to keep it separate. There's no guarantee that what I know of the fictional universe even matches up with the events you've lived through and even if they did-

It's not the same. She's a person and I've tried to get to know her the same way I get to know anyone. Knowing things about her has just been in the way.

[Really, Reid? Out of every possible Star Wars topic Ewoks is the thing you're excited to discuss?] It's funny, hearing you talk about my home like its this amazing place. It's just normal life to me, the idea of it being some holofilm in another universe is weird.

And you probably know more about her than I do. We'd never met before here. She was one of the leaders of the Rebellion but that doesn't mean I know anything about her as a person.

I think with Face everyone got their oooh famous Face Loran swoons and gossip out of the way at the start and it wasn't too awkward. Did you come clean with her about how much you know? No. At most it was the reason why I started talking to her, but that's where it ends. [ And sure, the fanboying doesn't ever really stop but he's trying to keep it to a private minimum and it's not the driving force behind hanging out with someone. Not anymore. He's been here too long.

If Ton wasn't such good friends with Kitty, he might get to hear about beach kisses right about now. Alas, it was not meant to be. ]
