[Kitty spends the first part of the morning at the clothing store. This isn't their first time with surprise snow, so she has sweaters and coats, but apparently she lost the warm boots somewhere in the move. There's probably a bot out there wearing them right now.]

Later, she can be found walking through a winter wonderland. You might even find her gathering up some snow and packing it into a ball. But will you be target practice or will it be that wall behind you?]

[ Damon's not really bothered by the cold because he can tolerate pretty extreme temperatures what with the vamp healing, etc, but he's out shopping for winter gear anyways. Or at least, he's thrown a scarf on while browsing through the clothing store. He's not going to be getting anything else for himself because none of what's here has John Varvatos stamped on it. It's upsetting.

As he walks through the different sections, he picks up one or two things for Elena just so she won't have to brave the crazy weather without suitable clothes. ]

Kitty, Kitty. [ So can't break the habit of repeating her name like that. ] Long time no see. [ Or long enough at least. ]

Don't get all Defence Force on me, Kitty. I've been all kinds of well behaved, well adjusted and everything ever. [ He's been racking up points taking care of the bar. The fact Elena's here, years older than when he last saw her hasn't phased him at all. He's curious about the future, but he's so not letting it bother him too much. Ultimately, they're all just stuck here and none of what's happened back home matters. It's not a life he feels he has any control over. ]

You know I can be suspicious all on my own outside the confines of my position. [She gives him a little smirk, not that concerned though. It's not like they have a trail of bodies or something to sort out. No complaints registered. Aside from what the wardens throw at them, things have been pretty smooth since Tyki disappeared.]
