Day 331 – Morning / Action / Closed to Kitty (the elder)

[He went to bed as usual in his own bedroom with Ianto. He wakes up in what now seems to be the usual way, in bed with Kitty, his wife. [Such a wonderful, understanding husband. That must be part of why she loves him so much, but there are a lot of reasons. She wouldn't have done this again with just anyone. Not after the way her first marriage ended. And she knows he had to come to it with some trepidation too. A long life may sound attractive, but it's full of loss. [He is, isn't he? Of course, he's not always quite this insightful (the wardens may have helped him along here a little!), but this is one case where he might have been able to get there himself. He knows how important her identity is to Kitty, how much she's lost from her world and how tightly she needs to hang onto whatever she has left.
