Day 305 : Action : Mistletoe OPEN!
[Kitty is up and out early. Working out in the training center and after a shower making some rounds through the prison. It may not be strictly part of her Defense Force schedule, but it helps clear the head and keep her active which is nice after the whole spilling every little thought thing that happened just a couple of days ago.

Of course there are some new obstacles out in the prison today to keep things interesting.]

	[It hasn't really been that long since she's been touched, has it? Not quite a month. Why does it feel that long?] And I'm [okay, yes, turned on, but more importantly] in love with Reid. [Bringing her hands up to press against him, trying to put some air back between them. [ It feels like it's been way too long for Damon. (Just a few weeks, really.) He'd been all too preoccupied with the whole "free Katherine from the tomb" business which turned out to be a complete waste of his time and effort.

When Kitty tries to put some space between them and mentions being in love with someone else (of course she would be) he pulls away slightly and lets out a roll of his eyes. ]

Clearly, Reid doesn't feel the same way. He dumped you, didn't he? [ Damon waits for the fact to sink in, licks his lips and gives Kitty a playful smile. ] I could help you forget.

[Ouch. Just ouch. Just say the things she's afraid are true. He tells her he wants to come back. He tells her he still loves her. But sometimes it's hard to believe words over actions and his action is breaking her heart every day he doesn't come back.

There are times it's so hard to do anything that it does feel like just making the break real would be easier. She could do something that just burned the bridge so she didn't keep watching for him. It was the same kind of mentality that led to her burning down Tyki's bar along with the hurt and anger.]

You probably could for a little while, but I've been down that road before. [With Tyki, trying to heal from Piotr. She married her first boyfriend. How did her love life get so messy in less than a year?] And I should probably at least try making new mistakes.

Ooh. [ Damon reaches forward to touch the invisible barrier, poking at it before he simply folds his arms over his chest and leans back. ]

Look what you got yourself into. This is probably going to be incredibly awkward and uncomfortable, but -- lucky for you, I'm up for standing here all day. What with you being in love with Reid and all that. [ Is he going to kiss her or reciprocate and play nice in order to escape? Nope. That moment has passed. Definitely being the most mature right now. ]

[ Ew. Shrink, shrinks, shrinking -- so not the words that he wants to hear. ] It looks like we'll get be getting more up, close and personal than ever. [ He feels the gentle nudge of the shield, but manages to stay put. (For now.) ]

Come on. I doubt it'll suffocate us. And even if it does, I know I can't die. Well. I can. But it's a gross, complicated process. [ He leans forward and whispers: ] You don't want to know.

[Once upon a time, not so long ago, this is probably where she would have made—and meant—a threat. Maybe she'd plunge a phased hand into his chest and tell him removing a heart is gross, but not that complicated for her. She doesn't know if it's one of the things that can kill him, but it's a good bet on most people. But she's grown and changed and had new things to care about and work toward in this place. She's seen other ways of living and what it can be again.

So she hols off on threats for now.] It wasn't personal. [She takes a deep breath.] He...wanted it to be temporary. I don't know if he's just stringing me along so it'll hurt more or what. [But he wouldn't. He's not that kind of guy. The pain just makes her feel a lot of things.] I just don't want to mess that up if it's real. You get that, right?

[ A lot of times, Damon pushes actual care bear type feelings to the side, preferring to focus on the more terrible things he can do or say to make someone feel like crap. But there are times, when he doesn't. Not because he's grown a conscience or that he cares. It's just because Damon always has an agenda. ]

Ugh. Are you going to try to make me feel sorry for you the entire time we're trapped in here? [ He pouts, takes a step towards her, and regrets the action almost immediately when he feels the barrier closing in on them. ]

I get it. You love him. He'll always be a part of you, you're a part of him indefinitely and he'll always be your baby. Blah, blah, blah.

Well, here's a fact. This prison's not big enough. I'm sure he'll come around.

Look at you all desperate to get out of here. So... what happens in this barrier stays in this barrier? [ He raises an eyebrow in question, smirking a little before he leans in to kiss her. It's one cutesy peck on the cheek really. All sweet and innocent. Almost 1864 Damon like. But when that doesn't bring down the barrier, he moves to kiss her on the lips; somewhat tentatively at first as he waits for her response. Isn't he quite the gentleman? ]

	[She actually smiles at the peck. Look at him being cute, but she's not surprised it isn't their get out of jail free card.
