Day 305 : Action : Mistletoe OPEN!
[Kitty is up and out early. Working out in the training center and after a shower making some rounds through the prison. It may not be strictly part of her Defense Force schedule, but it helps clear the head and keep her active which is nice after the whole spilling every little thought thing that happened just a couple of days ago.

Of course there are some new obstacles out in the prison today to keep things interesting.]

	Right. [The burning the bar had actually skipped her mind somehow. Maybe because it just felt like the least he deserved at the time and because it was less about hurting him and more about burning a bridge back to him. He dips, not phasing in the slightest as he kisses her. It's nothing like he could've made it, hot and heavy or reminiscent of their makeouts before. But it's not chaste either, it's a fair and even kiss he'd give to any woman he respected in this situation.]

[She doesn't bite him. She doesn't resist or phase. She responds without pushing deeper. It's not a bad kiss and if she ever claimed she was no longer attracted to the man it would be a lie. She misses the connection they used to have almost as much as she laments it in the first place. Or maybe she misses it a little more, but she's not so willing to admit that. There a slight pop of air as their lips part.] Free again. [Not that she's actually looked to see if it's true yet.]

[He's still undoubtedly attracted to her in return, whether it's because of the physical aspects that brought him there in the first place or the bond that led to - it's still there, the embers of attraction. But he gave up on her - not just because she left him, but she had no trust in him from the very beginning. Maybe if she hadn't betrayed him so easily to Allen, playing relay with every spec of information she found, he would've had a foundation to help him build something up more human. Instead what was built kept getting pulled down in turns from both of them, and his lack of trust had him sabotage the little she had in him. A circle of destruction that continued to spiral downward, only getting worse.

He's been spiraling down, losing his wits here. He's of two minds. One is to destroy it all, to vent the frustration and ire by raising hell fire. The other just despairs the longer he's in this cage, wanting something - anything - to repeal it. That half wants company, and it's that half that keeps compelling him to talk to her most days when the other half has no intention (yet) to harm her. He toes the line getting ripped apart at the seams.

He pulls back from the kiss with a breath sucked in, his eyes opening slowly to look at her before he leans back. His fingers reach to pluck confetti from her hair.] Not so bad after all?
