Day 291 [Action:Closed] [Action:Open] [Video:Private]
[Action | Closed Reid]
[She wakes up on the floating island with the blaring and vibrating of the giant speakers below her. She can't really process the message, and as it turns out that doesn't really matter to her at the moment because everything that happened yesterday is taking on a whole new context. She threatened Reid. She threatened Reid. He looked so hurt. So did Nathan. She reaches up to call him only to remember she left her communicator by the bed. She'll just have to get there herself then. Without another moment's delay she phases, dropping right through the island and getting herself to the apartment as fast as she can.]

Reid! Nathan!? [Calling out their names as soon as she drops in through the ceiling of the kitchen as it turns out.]

[Action | Open (After the breakup)]
[Nathan is still in the hospital. Reid is...wherever he went. The apartment is all hers at the moment and she has no intention of going back there until she's too exhausted to be awake long for it. She's not sure if she wants to avoid people or be with them, so for now she's just walking without paying much attention to where that takes her.]

Data? You there?

That's something. A lot even. [She can't say the same about her own death.]

But for what it's worth, I think you're someone who could have used a little more infinite. [You're a good guy, Charlie Brown Data.]

It is. [ He knows that it is; he's seen too many senseless deaths, since he first became truly aware of what that meant with Tasha's demise. ]

[ And then, a softer, appreciative smile. ] That is exceptionally kind. Thank you.

[ He hesitates, only a moment, in consideration. ]

Though, there is the fact that I am here now - perhaps, in a sense, the time which I spend here could be considered "a little more infinite."

[He gets a nod.] A land of life-long sentences and second chances. It'd be great if it weren't terrible in other ways.

All things considered, I guess I'm glad I'm here. [She was more sure of this before the break up, but she'll feel that way again...right?]

The circumstances are far from ideal, but it is likely helpful to view our time here in as positive of a light as possible.

[ Not that he'll stop trying to get out. ]

If it is any help, I am glad that you are here. I am pleased that I have had the opportunity to know you.

[That actually gets her just a little choked up and she's not going to respond until that goes away. Luckily it just takes a few looong seconds.] Thanks, Data. I like you too.

I should probably let you get back to whatever you were doing before I threw all this on you. [And before her voice does any breaking.]
