[She hadn't told him too much last night. She got hurt. It was nothing the hospital couldn't take care of and things were going smoothly otherwise and all she really wanted to do was sleep. All true really. Especially the sleep part, but there was still a lot more to say.] I'm checking out early.

[Everyone was greeted with Kitty getting charged with both assault and injury this morning ~~even though you didn't see it on the daypost because reasons but it totally happened, okay?~~ She spent the night in the hospital. They patched her up, replaced some of the lost blood and gave her cheetah-like spotting. Okay, maybe not them, but something did. There's also a tail. She doesn't want to talk about the tail. She pulls her blooded and tattered tank top back on and leaves the hospital.]

Were you going to? [Her voice is a little rough, like she's trying to keep it from sounding as small as she feels right now.]

Emily didn't tell us about Ian Doyle because if we knew, then we'd be in danger. She thought that, by keeping it from us she'd be the only one at risk. At the time I didn't understand it, but... she did it because she loves us.
