Hey, everything go okay after I left like a slacker?

[She hadn't told him too much last night. She got hurt. It was nothing the hospital couldn't take care of and things were going smoothly otherwise and all she really wanted to do was sleep. All true really. Especially the sleep part, but there was still a lot more to say.] I'm checking out early.

[Everyone was greeted with Kitty getting charged with both assault and injury this morning ~~even though you didn't see it on the daypost because reasons but it totally happened, okay?~~ She spent the night in the hospital. They patched her up, replaced some of the lost blood and gave her cheetah-like spotting. Okay, maybe not them, but something did. There's also a tail. She doesn't want to talk about the tail. She pulls her blooded and tattered tank top back on and leaves the hospital.]

[ He had a bad feeling about what went down last night long before it actually happened and he can't even say that he's surprised to hear that she got injured enough to end up in the hospital — scared, worried out of his mind and wanting to hit something until it broke, yes. But not surprised.

Fortunately (or perhaps un, depending on who you ask) he got something more pressing on his mind come morning, voice labored as he responds. No video for you, girlfriend. ]

You really think that's such a good idea?

[It's the kind of bump she should have been able to easily avoid, but even phasing feels like a strain right now as her body is all held together with stitches and pain killers. Avoiding would have been good though, because OW! She holds her side.]

[ Okay. So he's met more than a few gals in his lifetime, but he's pretty sure he would remember this one. 'Ugh' is so not the reaction he usually gets from women. For a moment, he just stares at her, looking somewhat puzzled as he tries to jog his memory. When that fails, he decides to just say something, anything. ]

Normally, I'd say that's a cute pickup line, but the fact you know my name and I don't know yours means you mean that literally in which case I'd have to say, nope. Got here yesterday. [ The whole never been in prison thing is a partial lie. There was that time he was held captive for extreme experimentation purposes, but no one in the right mind would want to remember those days. ]

	I've been reassembled by our fine robot doctors and double checked by Ton. Holding together. Not going to be actively patrolling for a few days though. [ It stands to reason, for Data, that a number of the Defense Force might be a bit weary today, so he's taken it upon himself to continue picking up extra patrol. He's been going fairly nonstop lately, which is not necessarily something that's concerning for an android - since this android has been losing people left and right recently, it's actually proven to be quite effective in keeping himself active. He can't quite manage to occupy all of his processes, of course, but if he can keep a few of them going, it's less he can spare for emotional responses. Nobody wants positronic despair on their hands, all right?

He's actually just considering stopping by the hospital when he comes across his motivation for said consideration out in the streets. With, apparently, some of the day's... modifications. Interesting development, to say the least. ]
