[She hadn't told him too much last night. She got hurt. It was nothing the hospital couldn't take care of and things were going smoothly otherwise and all she really wanted to do was sleep. All true really. Especially the sleep part, but there was still a lot more to say.] I'm checking out early.

[Everyone was greeted with Kitty getting charged with both assault and injury this morning ~~even though you didn't see it on the daypost because reasons but it totally happened, okay?~~ She spent the night in the hospital. They patched her up, replaced some of the lost blood and gave her cheetah-like spotting. Okay, maybe not them, but something did. There's also a tail. She doesn't want to talk about the tail. She pulls her blooded and tattered tank top back on and leaves the hospital.]

Officially a little bit creeped out as is and he's a 170 year old vampire. So much for thinking that this place is anything like paradise. Punishing isn't really my intention. [Okay, it was part of the fire. She was hurt and she wanted to take something from him, but it was more about burning a bridge she was afraid she'd return to if it wasn't ashes.

Thing is she can walk on water so she got back there all the same.]

Kind of a small place and the wardens expect us to hurt each other. We're criminals. They don't stop it. They'll patch us back up afterward and hand out punishments. Want to know what mine is?

	It does sound like something I'd make up, but no. [She doubts she'd even make up something as bizarre as what they come up with.] Honestly? Not entirely sure. You usually get a few days before they start bugging you about it, but then bots are following you around, so you probably get tased or locked up until you do it or both. 	It must be all the charm. [A nod.] I mean that's what the wardens always say when someone disappears. They haven't really explained the physics of it, but sometimes people return like you did with no memories or they come back feeling like no time has passed. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

So no one ever goes home? People just disappear and then come back, and then disappear again only to come back and rinse, recycle, repeat? [ He does not like the sound of that. ] And there's nothing I can do about Elena being stuck in there? [ Of course he would try to save his brother's girl if he could. Why wouldn't he? He likes her well enough. (And maybe like isn't the right word for it, but it's the one he'll allow himself to admit to feeling when it comes to the girl. ... It's complicated.) ]
