Well, you all got what you wanted. I suppose 'force' is a rather fitting word now that I think about it.

[Her tone is icy and directed at a few people in particular. They'd know who they were.]

Is this how it's going to be? Step out of line and you get punished? I thought the wardens doling out punishments out was bad enough, but I guess not.

	I know you didn't, that was my addition. [A beat.] Spike retaliated because Jack attacked him, that was his reaction to what Jack did. Letting personal agendas get in the way of defense force business is not good practice, I hope you understand that. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[Martha sighs. They are looking at this from different views.] Spike retaliating against Jack... just Jack likely wouldn't have produced this result. Spike retaliating against Ianto, me, and the number of out folks, that's a problem. That's attacking a number of people in the dome - some who are part of the defense force, others who are not. That's the problem. That's why we did something. We're trying to keep everyone safe.

Everyone except Spike. [It doesn't mean that Rose doesn't see where Martha is coming from. She never wanted this to escalate like it did and trying to do damage control would be difficult.]

If you are trying to keep everyone in this prison safe then surely he comes under that category as well. I'm not glossing over what happened to you or anyone else but everyone should be protected if that's what the defense force stands for.

	Everyone including Spike. But you aren't telling me anything other than he's taking revenge for some thing that Jack did. You're not telling me what Jack did. And whatever Jack did, it does NOT excuse attacking the many innocent people Spike attacked. Jack took a baseball bat to him before using a gun. [If he had the sense to use wooden bullets it would be an entirely different situation.]

He also let Spike feed off of him before any of this happened; something that Jack didn't seem to mind too much. Maybe he actually enjoys the violence, I don't know for sure.

[She looks at Martha's neck when she moves her head, wincing a little at the bite.]

And he attacked Spike without any provocation? How long ago was this?

[Usually Jack finds people who want to fight with him instead of just attacking... She'll have to talk to him about it.]
