Day 275 - Action/Open
[Around \ Open]
[Kitty will be at the athletic complex running laps and attacking dummies. She'll also be at the DF headquarters taking care of a few things and between other destinations. Approach with caution. She's not in the greatest of moods and the claws are on even if they aren't out yet. So help you if you throw a popper her way.]

[Sector 6 \ Open]
[This used to be her sector—leader of the patrol team that kept an eye on things. She disbanded that team and reorganized the day Reid left. It wasn't a fresh start so much as a priority shift. She does want to get a special team together to explore and analyze sector 6. She tells herself that's why she's heading in there now, but it's not the only reason. She hasn't seen Tyki since the dreams. Not that she knows what she wants to say to him or if she'd even run into him. Better if she doesn't really. Of course, either way she's likely to run into someone or something.]

[Home \ Closed to Reid & Nathan]
[Long day and she didn't come out of it unscathed. There's a couple of shallow slashes on her shoulder and a nasty bruise on her thigh. They're both currently hidden, but there's a blood stain on the jacket where it soaked through. The material is dark so it's not that easy to see.

Even so she stopped to get an assortment of Indian food and a cheesecake. They might not really go together but cheesecake sounded good and she's the one with the cuts.]

Boys? I'm home.

[ He draws a shaky breath as the clothes start to come off in earnest, a little bit of nerves making themselves known. It is too much too fast, but when have they not gone by that strategy? Maybe it would be better to just push through it, second thoughts be damned for now. It's not like he doesn't want her — he does, with heat and desperation that just barely trumps the long wet days of grief. ]

[She doesn't realize the hesitation or tension in him about this. Maybe if she was thinking more and feeling less she'd realize he couldn't possible be as on her page as she feels like he is right now, but that's not the situation. She's missed him and a dream encounter was not enough. Not by a long shot.

She straddles his legs with hers—one perfectly intact and the other clearly very bruised. She's not worried about that right now though. She has him under her and he looks good enough to kiss so she will lean in right now for that.]

[ He doesn't want her to realize. He wants to keep this as something good, even if that means perhaps pushing further than he should. It's a good thing that she's kept in the dark because maybe then he can find his way back into something light and if they think about it, if they talk about it he'll start questioning everything and down that road lies ruin.

No, all the better to just push into it and not think. Thinking can wait for later. He slides his hands carefully up her thighs, avoiding the bruising best he can to wrap around her back and kiss back with an intensity that could very well wash away the last few weeks pain and awkwardness. ]

[It's so much like before, but more. She kisses a little deeper and holds a little tighter. She needs it more. Not for the sex exactly. It's not about orgasms. It's about the intimacy. The vulnerability. The sharing. The closeness. The physical affection they've shown each other for so long up until 18 days ago. She needed it more than she even realized. It's how she's communicating right now. Words and thinking and analyzing need not apply. She has hands and body language and soft sounds and half breaths.

[ Luckily his hesitation is completely contained to the emotional and not the physical. He can't even imagine a scenario where he wouldn't be hard right now, not with the way she's kissing him and certainly not with the way she's moving against him. He muffles a moan against her lips, hands sliding down to tug at her underwear.

The smoothness of the wedding night dream may have rubbed off, or maybe this is just pent up sexual energy from not rubbing... off. ]

[If he wasn't hard that would definitely be a clear signal that something was very wrong and maybe it's the lack of that signal that tells her however accurately it is that everything is going well.

She raises her hips just enough to let him get the underwear moving. Shifting here and there until they're barely a memory tossed on the floor and she's fully exposed to him.

[ There's a fair amount of wiggling and lifting his hips and tugging followed by more wiggling and a side-order of kicking, but eventually he gets them off. So naked. His heart is thudding heavily in his chest, threatening to suffocate him but he pushes on nonetheless, in some vague attempt to not remain completely broken. If he can do this, if he can go back to this... maybe it'll be better.

Breath labored he looks up at her, hands returning to her waist and sliding up her back. ]

[She smiles back down at him. Probably pretty hard to miss the love in these eyes even for a non-profiler. Her heart is going pretty hard and fast too, but it's more excitement and hope and arousal than anything else. There is a thread of fear in there somewhere. That he'll change his mind. That he doesn't want this—her. But it's a thin thread she's very happy to not encourage.

With Reid resettled she shifts on top of him, rubbing herself over him without aligning their bodies just yet.]

[There's a gasp at the thrust. Don't worry, it's a good gasp. Perfect really. Any momentary discomfort that might have come from a few weeks of disuse is more than made up for by just knowing that they're together. That he wants her. And wow does she ever want him.

She brings herself in for a kiss while they still have breath to kiss as she gives herself—and him—a moment to adjust.]

[Definitely not sexy, but if anyone could understand it, she could. She would. There's a lot of emotion inside her too and while she's not even close to tears she does feel like it's going to spill out of her somehow. A crazed laugh. A frenzied kiss. Something. But those don't come. She just moves against him, eyes staying right on him as his words repeat in her head.]

[Suffocating, like crying, tends not to be that sexy. Then again Tyki would disagree. But no one in this bed is thinking about Tyki! She is very, very wrapped up in Reid right now. He should be able to hear the soft hitch of her breath and feel the tensing of her muscles around him.

Her fingers brush into his hair, but they want to curl and tighten against it as another push brings her over the edge.]
