Day 275 - Action/Open
[Around \ Open]
[Kitty will be at the athletic complex running laps and attacking dummies. She'll also be at the DF headquarters taking care of a few things and between other destinations. Approach with caution. She's not in the greatest of moods and the claws are on even if they aren't out yet. So help you if you throw a popper her way.]

[Sector 6 \ Open]
[This used to be her sector—leader of the patrol team that kept an eye on things. She disbanded that team and reorganized the day Reid left. It wasn't a fresh start so much as a priority shift. She does want to get a special team together to explore and analyze sector 6. She tells herself that's why she's heading in there now, but it's not the only reason. She hasn't seen Tyki since the dreams. Not that she knows what she wants to say to him or if she'd even run into him. Better if she doesn't really. Of course, either way she's likely to run into someone or something.]

[Home \ Closed to Reid & Nathan]
[Long day and she didn't come out of it unscathed. There's a couple of shallow slashes on her shoulder and a nasty bruise on her thigh. They're both currently hidden, but there's a blood stain on the jacket where it soaked through. The material is dark so it's not that easy to see.

Even so she stopped to get an assortment of Indian food and a cheesecake. They might not really go together but cheesecake sounded good and she's the one with the cuts.]

Boys? I'm home.

[ He comes home later than expected. It's been a very long and very busy day, too much so for him to think about calling ahead. They had no plans. He's sure it's fine and even if it isn't, it's not like that'll change the status quo much. These days he's really doubting anything will be fine again.

He does make some noise as he walks through the door, enough to alert anyone that he's home. ]

[The scent of Indian food is still lingering in the air. If he checks the fridge there is plenty extra. His favorite is definitely still in there, but the kitchen has been cleaned up.

Kitty isn't out in the living room. She's back in their room with the door shut, but she did hear him come in. She didn't want Nathan to see the wounds. Partially so he wouldn't worry and partially because she figures it's not a great thing for him to see a woman with cuts.

She heads toward the door, opening it and peeking only her head out.]

Hey, come back here when you get a minute?

[She didn't really want him to see either, but she's having trouble dressing the wound given it's location and leaving to get someone else to do it for her feels more dishonest. Is she going to tell them not to tell Reid too? It's just not her style to hide stuff like that.

She'll be back in the room, wearing just a tightly fitting racerback tank top and jeans]

Maybe it's the whole situation that's ghosting up his head, but he can't quite shake the feeling that something isn't right. ]

Sure. I'll be right there. [ He takes a moment to drop off his stuff before heading back for the bedroom. The feeling of worry intensifies as he enters, spotting the bandages that are laid out. ] ...What happened?

	It's okay. I was in sector six and a raptor managed to scratch me. It's nothing big. Just hard to reach. [She turns slightly so he can see her shoulder. There are a couple of angry claw marks that start going in and get a bit deeper before the cut stops abruptly. That's when the phasing kicked in again.] (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
