Music Recital | Open Mingle
[The day that Michiru had been planning for for some time was now here! It was the music recital for the academy's music class. She was excited for this and she hoped that her students were as well.

The stage was set and the chairs had been set up. There were also refreshments. This was the best that she could hope for.

The recital is mainly for her students, but she might play a song or two of her own]

	It would. I don't want to make anyone nervous by playing before them. This is your chance to show off. I play the violin. I'm going to play something simple. 	That's good. Sometimes parents can be really strict about that kind of thing. I knew kids on the baseball team who didn't really want to be there. [Which is amazing because how could you ever not?] (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Maybe they should have. There are a lot of parents who seem to have the theory that if their child does something, it betters the child or improves the parents' station. Both potentially breed resentment towards the activity. I do prefer when people want to do it for themselves. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
