So, barring further unfortunate invasions of prehistoric beasts or other disasters, I’m happy to announce I’ll be starting an art class tomorrow. Short notice, I know, but don’t worry if you can’t clear your schedule; latecomers will be more than welcome. This isn’t going to be too formal, anyway. Days ending in fours and eights, starting at nine in the morning sharp... but I’ll keep the studio open through the afternoon, unless someone kicks us out. Classroom five. All skill levels and media are welcome-- I’ll set up a still life or something, unless any adventurous souls want to talk about modeling.

Questions, comments? I’m not going to do sign-ups-- just show up if you’re interested, and bring along some appropriate supplies. Paints, clay, anything you like. At the very least a pencil and pad will get you a long way.

|[ooc; official course info here. Will post a mingle-type thing for it next week <3]|

That is my thought on it. It would be rather depressing if all we did was worry and fret. The arts make life much more interesting.

Are you planning on attending?

I am. Oddly enough I don't paint enough here. Maybe if I take the class I'll have a incentive to work on it more.

It certainly can't hurt.

I haven't decided what I'm going to do myself. Though I guess I've got time, right?

That is the hard part here unfortunately. You don't necessarily have to do anything, which gets terribly boring. But yes, you do have the time to do it.

Have you been here a long time?

Day 131. So about three months now. How long have you been here?

Since Day 241. So not long at all.

No, not that long. Still longer than I'm sure most people want to be here.

I'm getting used to it, in spite of myself.

That does happen of course. After you've been here for sometime and the shock wears off. Are you adjusting well?

Pretty well, I think. At least when it's quiet around here.

That's good. The not so quiet parts can make it very hard, I do admit.

Have you ever seen anything like the other day before?

The raptors have been here before. There have been glitches of various different sorts. I first arrived in the dome from a glitch that draws in a lot of people on a non-normal arrival day and returns them the next day. This has happened again since I was brought back.

But are most glitches so dangerous?

For the most part, no, I would say they aren't. Weird yes. Dangerous, not so much.

Weird can be rather pleasant sometimes. Sometimes not.
