Not really. Maybe for another girl who didn't watch an immortal bring ruin to her world. Maybe for a girl who had a healthier, better life growing up who would be optimistic enough to want to see it stretch on forever. Maybe for a girl who was naive enough to think it didn't come with some pretty big drawbacks.]

Pretty sure you don't have much of a choice in the matter, Sheriff. I think that's in the circuits of our robotic overlords. [ It's always worth a try, dangling the possibility of immortality over someone's head. You never know, after all. Not that he's the kind of bloke who turns people willy-nilly, of course. ]

Gotta say, there's something bittersweet about the possibility of watching this sorry lot wither and die... if they manage to stay in the dome and not get lost like an odd sock.
