[So things had been pretty neutral lately and Tyki's found himself oddly complacent. so maybe that's why when the lights stay out come morning hours and he's roused to wakefulness with nothing but a dark expanse around him that he feels more alert. Maybe it's just the deep call of the darkness that sings to him on a level the sun never can. But he's been here far too long to trust anything in the dark, nor be surprised by it.

So he conducts his day as usual, for an intangible man has no fear of what lurks in any shadow. He departs for the Devil's Compass in Sector 4 and roots through it for useful items. He lingers, the entire place lit up by the flickering amber light of candles on nearly every edge. It beckons the weary or the lost.]

[VARIOUS LOCATIONS]

[Oh, yes he's seen those raptors - and tonight wouldn't be the first time he's fought them. Defensively, instinctively, simply for the pleasure of it, he goes about fending them off and even in some cases seeking them out. Something about expelling pent up steam, whirring gears that are lately so out of use. At least, while battling those weird waves of - no, he's just killing them. No reason. No other effects stir anything in him, not a drop of any uneasy feelings.

From fresh faced and impeccably dressed, wandering with a candle in hand to speckled with raptor blood in your light's reflection he's easily encountered anywhere in the dome. His eyes might be crazed, even, glinting dangerously gold. Careful now.]

[Miranda had been hurrying. She had managed to avoid the raptors and would have stayed inside if not for the fact that Lee had been unusually restless. She realized then that she had not taken him off to use the bathroom all morning. Of course the poor dear had been distressed. So she had finally taken him outside to the nearby park. It shouldn't have been too troublesome. The lights had been still working--somewhat--at the time and she kept a flashlight with her.

Until something had terrified Lee. Something had sent him into a terrored frenzy and he'd run off. Miranda had never considered putting a leash on him until that moment. Because he had run off and she'd chased him, just in time for the dim, emergency lights above to completely black out. She screamed in surprise and then slapped a hand over her mouth.]

Lee! Lee, come back here! Y-You don't know what's out there!

[She fumbled for her flashlight and tried to search the area for him, but she didn't see him anywhere.]

	[Tyki's tossing down a silenced, lifeless raptor mere feet away and around a corner, his fingers slick with blood when he hears her voice and pauses to look up. He doesn't see the little rat she calls a pet however, but goes to investigate without the aid of his now extinguished candle. [All she has in the flashlight, but thankfully the batteries are fresh--she checked them before they left the apartment--and she does have Time Record with her in case of danger. It would probably have been better for her if she has kept it out an activated, but she couldn't do that and hold the flashlight.

The sound of Tyki's voice makes her jump and spin around, the light going wild before she tries to settle on where she thinks he might be. There is another spike of fear, of knowing he's there, he's out there and he could hurt her. It's been months since she truly felt this level of fear at the thought of the Noah, but for some reason it's there now. But she swallows and tries to not show how nervous she is.]

T-Tyki? Is that you? Why, um, are you wandering in the dark?

[Of course he would bring that up and is that really what they should be talking about right now when she's already mostly terrified about things that may or may not be related to Tyki? What is she supposed to say to that and not reveal how she's seconds from falling to the ground and turning on Time Record to get him away?]

...Wh-What does that have to do with this?
