Welcome, new arrivals, and hello to everyone. I wanted to take just a moment to tell or remind everyone about our school. Education is so important to everyone whether you've finished the curriculum of your world or not. We have many wonderful teachers with a wide variety of classes at different levels. Students and new faculty and administration are always much appreciated and welcome.

I was hoping maybe some of you would consider taking on a class. Hopefully, you've seen our course catalog in your welcome basket to see what we offer. Some of you won't get them until tomorrow* of course, but there is still so much we could teach.

We don't have any language classes. We used to offer English and Japanese. It would be wonderful to add those or any others again. We need more sciences, math, art, crafts, agriculture, sewing, dance, philosophy, physical fitness or self defense and of course any special interest classes you might think of.

I was also thinking we might have a school fair at some point once it can be organized. That way everyone could learn more about the classes and get to know each other better. If anyone would like to help with that or to take on any new classes, please let me know!

	We have fairs. Carnivals, dances, pretty much anything you can imagine. It's more Caroline's thing and I'm sure she'd like to help too. Our friend Bonnie maybe too. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	You're in luck actually. Helen is going to be teaching a class on different languages. I haven't heard anything about self defense yet, but hopefully it will come too. There will be art and math soon. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It would. I'd like to be able to have a ceremony here sometime. I know our system isn't exactly like a regular school. That wouldn't work too well here. 	Yes, maybe so. We should have another teacher's meeting to see what they all think. I'm so grateful volunteer their time to teach I haven't wanted to set too many rules on them. Maybe as time goes on we'll find better ways of doing things. It seems like once we get on top of something, there's a change. Like when we had a new warden in the first prison and then when we changed prisons. [She tries to keep everyone motivated and happy here. She wants it to be comfortable—a home, but it can be wearing. She's been here so long and seen so much change and lost so many people from home and whom she's grown close to in the prison. It takes a toll even if she doesn't want to show it.

The fair should be a nice way to break things up though.
