Day 241 -- Video
[Well this is new. Not that he didn't deserve to be in prison considering the amount of crimes he's committed over the years, even if they'd been in the name of pursuing truth and justice. Illegal was illegal, right?]

[He's not sure what to do right now, but he needs to figure it out, so he takes a deep breath and turns on the camera. An image of an attractive, late twenty-something year old man with light blonde hair and brown eyes appears. He's not smiling, and mostly he just looks very tired. There's a long red gash across his right cheek that looks fresh.]

Hey. I'm new here. [Now he hesitates. He doesn't know what to expect, or what to say next. A first for him, really. He always seemed to say whatever people wanted to hear. Or needed to hear.]

I'm Oliver Queen.

[And if two of the three other people he's talked to already hadn't mentioned Bart, Oliver would probably also be rendered speechless. Because Bart Allen had no business being stuck in a prison. He can tell that Bart's shocked to see him though.]

Hey, Bart. [His voice is quiet, unsure. The team hadn't parted on very good terms and he's not sure where he stands with the younger man at the moment. But if Bart's offering to come and find him...]

The last thing Bart remembered was that bright explosion of light - ironically, the very one that erased all of his childhood memories. Bart manages a smile, more for Ollie's sake than his own.] See you in---

[In traditional Bart style, he's already running towards Ollie before he finishes his sentence. It takes him about 30 seconds; while he knows his way around, he hasn't memorized the entire layout just yet. Memorizing every corner would be admitting defeat, and Impulse never admitted defeat.

The second he reaches Ollie, he screeches to a halt and grins, arms folded squarely in front of his teammate. It's easier to notice, now that Bart's in person, but he's taller - almost on par with Ollie's height now.] --a flash.

[Before he has a chance to respond, Bart is standing in front of him. Except last time he checked, Bart wasn't as tall as he was, and his hair wasn't so blonde and the guy actually looked happened to see him. All of this is very confusing to Oliver as he stares at the younger man with wide eyes.]

...how long have you been in here?

[Because now he doesn't even know what to say because he's so baffled.]

And since you're of age, the beer thing is legal now. [He pauses, not sure what to say. This time thing is really strange.]

How uh -- how've you been?

[Yeah Ollie doesn't really know what to say here either. Back home Bart and Dinah had just learned he was a murderer. It does distantly occur to him that if Bart's so glad to see him, they apparently moved past him killing Lex. He's just not sure how that happened or how long it took. Out of everyone from their team, he was most concerned with Bart because he was the youngest. Because Ollie had always looked at Bart as a younger brother and he knew he'd let him down.]

[Bart rolls his eyes, though it's half out of amusement than any real exasperation. Of course Ollie'd focus on him drinking way before he reached legal limits!]

I've been okay. You know, ignoring the whole "stuck in underwater prison" thing. [He smiles, though it's a bit strained considering the circumstances.] Which reminds me... Since I've also sorta-kinda been here for a month, I can show you the ropes if you're up for it.

[If he sounds a little overeager, it's because he is. Despite the Lex stuff, and Bart's tendency to do his own thing, he still sees Ollie as his big brother - Lex coming back to life might've helped with the whole "Ollie is a murderer" ordeal.]
