[There was a reason this was voice only. Piper was doing her best to keep her tone under control as she delivered the bad news.]

I know my sister is really social, so she likely made some friends that she hadn't gotten around to introducing to me, yet, but I wanted to let everyone know she isn't in the dome anymore.

[Abruptly, Piper cut off the signal. She would be answering replies later.]

[ she recognizes piper's voice, even though they've never officially met. elena plays the message over a few times to be sure.

hearing that someone's gone is never good news, but the added struggle in piper's voice hits elena hard. she's been in that position before with family. with ric and jenna. even john.

and now a friend too. ] I'm so sorry. Thank you for letting us know.

[ she pauses, shifts. wants to help, somehow, but knows how little she can do. she doubts piper wants to talk at length judging from her abruptness, but - ] I'm Elena.

[It was a mixed tone, but Piper was glad to meet some of the people Phoebe knew while she was here, even if it was because she wasn't anymore.

Still, though, at least it meant her free-spirited sister was back home where she belonged. She hoped. There was that whole pesky dimensional stabilizer glitch thing that people had mentioned. She didn't really want to think about that.]

Have you been here long?

[Not that she might be looking for something to talk about to get her mind off things.]

	Something about graduating, I think. That's what I've heard anyway. I was asleep already, myself. But someone mentioned that it was about Sentience, so maybe you're right. Maybe the system got too sympathetic. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

A few people. Several of us were working on notes and things together to see what we could figure out. That other prison we got sent to for a while when this one got attacked by that giant squid octopus thing was another hint, too, and several people picked up some clues from there. Like, how hair was longer, and not dyed, and how injuries and scars gained in Marina didn't exist. It was all very strange.
