[Today's adventure is less of a fiesta and more of a siesta.]

[Namely, one thoroughly-exhausted Zatanna can be found at the Library. Pouring over texts as if she were in danger of failing MarinaNova 101. The journals are old. The writing in them mostly by hand. She has a notebook of her own off to one side, filled with scribbles and diagrams and anything else she could think of. Most of them magic, though there were a few other symbols drawn in there as well. Such as distinctive "R"s, and lightning bolts and other insignias of her friends. Her and home.]

[If one is fortunate enough to catch her before noon, she might even still be conscious. Either mindlessly doodling or browsing one of the shelves. Otherwise...any passer-bys will find the fourteen year old passed out over the texts.]

[Saetan has been spending a lot of his time in the library since his arrival because he doesn't have a study to sit around looking imposing and important in here. Also he's always had a weakness for books and one of the few good things that can be said about this place is the ability to find some new ones.

He's been sitting in the same chair for the past half hour or so, peering up over the glasses perched on the end of his nose every time the girl gets up to grab another armload of books to begin flipping through. He's becoming less and less able to hide the look of amusement that's growing with each trip, so he finally gives up pretending to read at all and watches the proceedings.]

If you'll forgive me saying so, my dear. I can't remember the last time I saw anyone your age quite so enthusiastic about taking notes on any subject. Do you mind if I ask just what you're up to?

[It was a true testament to just how tired she was that Zatanna didn't even noticed she was being watched. Her senses were dulled, and really, there was only so much danger when the Dome itself wasn't trying to kill them all. So when the voice suddenly spoke up--unfamiliar, but calm--she visibly jumped in her seat.]

Huh--? Wha--?

[She looked around, before her eyes settled on Saetan.]

...were you talking to me?

	Ten thirty... [She missed breakfast. And her morning jog. How long had she been here, anyway? Rubbing at her eyes, the low grumble in her stomach indicated too long.] Research, mostly.
