Day 231 : 4th Wall : Open Video/Open Action MINGLE

Hello, everyone! I wasn't expecting so many new people so soon! I'm not sure we'll have welcome baskets ready for everyone. [Partially because Euphie has been here long enough to suspect that if this is like any of the other times the wardens will "fix the glitch."] But I do hope you all have a safe and happy time today.

Everything here is free, so if you need clothes or food just go to any store or restaurant and you should be able to find what you need. Tonight when you want to sleep there are three different apartments with plenty of open rooms. You're welcome to take any open one for yourselves. Oh! And be very careful to stay out of Sector 6. It's dangerous. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Ah, and Cornelia, if you're out there it would be very nice to see you.

[Euphie doesn't visit the TV station often, although she was once asked to start in a video there by someone who has since left the dome. Still, on such a day it's important to visit everywhere. There's no telling where a person might find themselves transported. She'd had to think of someone in there confused. Of course it might just be her turn to be confused when she turns around just in time to see a very familiar man.

This time she doesn't mistake him for Lyle. The eyepatch is quickly visible. Of course that means he isn't quite her Neil either, is he?] Neil?

[She brushes some of that long pink hair back behind her ear.] Yes, it must be a bit of a shock. I know I've missed days before, and I wasn't sure how to handle it. [Of course there was also a genocidal component, but that's best not mentioned. She didn't miss his question though and it deserves a response.]

I would be happy to go to the beach with you if that's what you'd like today. I do like the beach and the company.

I guess the missed days can't be helped. In my case, I'm pretty sure I wasn't off doing something I'd regret missing out on. [ Neil's one-eyed gaze had drifted to the door as he considered that possibility, but then it was right back on her. ] No, I guess not, with the way you answered me.

It did seem like a nice day out, and I know I'm already dressed. [ Long floral-print shirt, shorts, sandals, and a cap. It's a little ridiculous, but then again, a lot of beachwear looks ridiculous. He'd look better out of it.

Speaking of: ] Would that mean it's up to me to return your earlier favor?

	I've been here long enough to have and hear many stories like that one, but it's still hard to really imagine the way time can just slip by like that. I'm glad you woke up again here and that we ran into each other. Sometimes things just work out, don't they? Though he is not about to let that sour the mood. He steps closer, to rest a hand on her shoulder. ] Sorry. Hopefully that rascal brother of mine hasn't given you any trouble. I'd hate to have to rough him up. [ Which is the opposite of what he means. Beating him up last time was cathartic, even if the misunderstanding that led to that violence was all on Neil. ]
