[And for those who are paying attention to the network they are about to get a rare sight. An angry Michiru. So angry in fact that her powers are starting to show, her hair moving on its own as though pushed by water]

Puck! We need to have a discussion about your "gift"!

Would you really consider a sea cucumber [She visibly shudders at the thought] an appropriate gift for someone with a fear of them?

I've been on the receiving end of those jokes -- not about sea cucumbers, of course, but when you're a girl who can hear other people's thoughts, people start labeling you as crazy pretty early on.

Hmm... I would imagine. It is a shame I have to say. It could be a very useful ability. And I am sorry you were on the receiving end of that as well.

Only to those who aren't scared of it.

[ her own mother was utterly terrified of her because of it. ]

Don't be. I'm used to it, and the people here are ironically a lot more excepting of it. Kind of freeing, in a sense.

People here don't seem to have as many issues with those sort of things. I think because so many people have experienced it for themselves.
