[The network opens to Jessica who's taken the time to find some other outfits before doing this this time.]

Feels I went home for a bit, or somethin'. Or I got new memories anyways -- I remember hearin' bout that happenin' to other people. Last thing I remember was it bein' day 216 -- that was twelve days ago. The orange don't suit me much better than it did the first time. Whatever's goin' on it's sure as hell fuckin' weird.

[There's a pause, and then she adds.]

I gotta question for everyone though. If someone you loved, someone you really hurt but still care about, if they wanted to forget about you completely -- what would you do? Like if you could do that for them, would you?

[Because she did. But she's still not sure how she feels about it. Even if she's not in love with Hoyt anymore she still cares about him. For what that's worth.

There's other things, things with Bill and the Authority but that she doesn't want to talk about so publically. How he 's turned into a religious fanatic like her birth parents used to be. It makes her skin crawl. The memories are fresh and make her feel sick to her stomach. She'd rather not focus on them too much.

She closes the feed at that.]

[Hoyt's acceptance -- or what had seemed like acceptance at the time -- is something that helped Jessica really accept her fate as a vampire. She'd never want to forget him, even as bad as things got (and things were getting bad long before Jason came into the picture) but apparently he was so hurt he couldn't see past it. If she couldn't love him, he didn't want to have any memories of her at all.

She wishes she could still love him. She didn't mean to stop -- she did everything, even prayed for it to come back. But it's gone. And now so is any memories of her or Jason.]

I guess it doesn't help teach you if you can't get past it.

[ there was a look in her eyes, one that seemed almost familiar. for a moment she smiles, trying to read her, then nods at her response. the subject was touchy, and she wouldn't push about the question unless she openly spoke about it. ]

Yeah, I think I'd give the person some time to think about it, because losing a part of your life is equal to never being completely whole. It's like having a missing piece and never being able to find it. A crossroad of who you could have been if you hadn't gone through what you needed to in order to evolve.

[ she's speaking from the heart, cole played a major role in her life and as much as she'd like to erase him, she needed to thank him for making her relationship with her sisters so much stronger. ]

I've had a lot of bad relationships that have made me question who I am, but it only made me stronger. Yes it teaches you, it's the way people grow and learn to move on.

[ she sighs, then continues, tilting her head to the side; ]

Then it's their decision - their life. You can only warn them so much. But I can't imagine the pain I'd feel doing it. I'd mourn for months.

[ seeing the memory of her fade from his eyes was a chilling thought. it took a woman with a lot of strength to do that. ]

Then we need to fix that. I heard smiling for no reason helps, eventually you'll smile for real. You want some ice cream?

	You just need some time. [ That's different, Phoebe's met her handful of vampires and they weren't necessarily this nice. But, during her stay in Marina, she's seen a lot more than vampires. ] Vampires weren't very friendly where I'm from. But then again they had the whole 'dracula' thing going on.
