[ It had been a long, hard wait. Longer and harder than he cared to admit but now it was over and he'd made damn sure that the wardens couldn't take this newfound freedom away from them — or at least as sure as he could make. No loopholes. No risk of losing this "privilege" the blue band came with, unless one of them screwed around and that sure as hell wasn't going to happen.

With the demon thudding hard and fast in his dead veins, Spike went to find Rose. ]

[ OPEN ACTION - Late afternoon onwards ]

[ If this had been any normal day he would've blown off work in order to shag himself into a coma, but this isn't just any day. This is the first day of freedom. The first day without that blasted chip zapping his skull soon as he looks at a hot, pounding vein. He can't stay cooped up inside when the demon screams in his chest like this and although he has every intention of laying low for the time being he needs to stretch his legs. Take the bloodlust for a walk. Maybe he'll even bump into Xander-bloody-Harris and give him a well-deserved punch to the face.

Find him in Sector 4, 0 or 5 on the way to work or later through the night at the Blood Shack. ]

[ say what you will of twisting, but it's made piter quite incredible at taking note of threats and, usually, dodging them. but he isn't a vampire, and though he steps out of the way enough to avoid his nose getting knocked through the back of his head, the blow still glances harshly off his cheekbone.

he recovers quickly, straightening up and ignoring any pain entirely. one of those trademark piter smiles oozes onto his lips: a thin, saccharine quirk of the lips— a warning. he is quickly growing absolutely livid, and that is how he shows it. ] Are you quite done?

[ at least it seems that the operation was a success. ]

[ piter supposes he should be glad that spike does not consider him to be a tasty morsel, as he has no plans to ever receive such treatment, to become an object to be fed from and discarded. and, of course, if he were for some utterly bizarre reason to allow such a thing, there would be the question of the spice in his blood. ]

I seem to recall, my dear man, your assurance that we would "arrange something" were you to hunt such morsels. [ a tap to the temple, indicating that his fabulous memory was absolutely not shaken by that blow. ] I daresay that would be an adequate apology for your insolence.

I suppose that will do. [ his tone of voice is theatrically petulant, but his lips thin as he mutes a smile that nearly blossoms into an all-out grin. he's still quite dissatisfied with the whole punch to the face situation and feels that he must maintain some degree of severity, but he simply can't help showing how pleased he is by this promise. ]

Will there be a large audience, or will shall we have a private show? [ his fingers would be crossed for the latter, if he actually cared about such superstition. he's just really creepily fascinated by this, okay. ]

That you would think Piter so loose-lipped! [ he feigns an exaggerated expression of pain at this, eyes large and wet and lips drawn down melodramatically into a frown. ] I’ll do no such thing.

[ he doesn’t particularly want to face problems because of this, either. it will take plenty of arranging, plenty of observation and double-checking for him to be satisfied, but he would so love to sate his curiosity. ]
