[ It had been a long, hard wait. Longer and harder than he cared to admit but now it was over and he'd made damn sure that the wardens couldn't take this newfound freedom away from them — or at least as sure as he could make. No loopholes. No risk of losing this "privilege" the blue band came with, unless one of them screwed around and that sure as hell wasn't going to happen.

With the demon thudding hard and fast in his dead veins, Spike went to find Rose. ]

[ OPEN ACTION - Late afternoon onwards ]

[ If this had been any normal day he would've blown off work in order to shag himself into a coma, but this isn't just any day. This is the first day of freedom. The first day without that blasted chip zapping his skull soon as he looks at a hot, pounding vein. He can't stay cooped up inside when the demon screams in his chest like this and although he has every intention of laying low for the time being he needs to stretch his legs. Take the bloodlust for a walk. Maybe he'll even bump into Xander-bloody-Harris and give him a well-deserved punch to the face.

Find him in Sector 4, 0 or 5 on the way to work or later through the night at the Blood Shack. ]

	[ Heading home seemed like a good way to find her and it didn't take long before that tactic proved successful — there's a sharp jolt of excitement as he spots her, enough to quicken his step and close the distance between them. [ The kiss ignites the desire Rose felt for him and she takes a hold of Spike, hands gripping him tightly like she didn't want to let go. She wants to keep the kiss going for a while longer, despite the urge to just drag Spike back to their apartment.

But it was more than that...she hadn't seen him for some time and this was of a way of saying hello as well as an expression of how much she needed it.]

[ Not needing to breathe could easily result in a repeat of their last tryst — plenty of good walls around, after all — but this isn't just physical, even if Spike is all too happy to play up that point of their relationship. He did miss her company and there were times during those skull-splitting days where he wondered if he'd see her again or if the pain would drive him mad first.

He does let the kiss linger on, long and deep and needy but eventually he breaks it, voice raspy with desire. ]

Bloody hell, I missed you.

The feeling is mutual, Spike.

[She sounds almost giddy, clearly happy. Rose had been worried about him and now those worries had been put aside because he was here and he looked okay. The questions she had would be for another time, it could wait.

Rose nuzzles his cheek before pulling back to look at him, her expression fond. She just needed a moment or two to bask before anything else would happen between them.]

Worth the wait.

[ Normally her good mood would've pulled his thoughts to other ladies — Dru back in the good old days or even Harmony on any day when she didn't go on his nerves — but that's not happening now. He's moved past it, which of course doesn't mean he's over it but rather that the present is so rewarding that there's no energy left to dwell on the past. Right now, Rose is all that matters. ]

Like always. [ Softly murmured. He presses himself closer to her. ] We should get going. Lots of catchin' up to do.

[Sometimes, she wondered if her life could have gone another way back home. If she was able to be with someone, maybe even fall in love. Rose doubted that it would have happened but it was still at the back of her mind.

She was just glad to have Spike here and he was enough.]

Yeah, we should. I don't want to waste any more time.

[With a smile she slips her hand into his before turning in the direction of their apartment to lead them both there.]

[ This affectionate side to him was something that Rose could appreciate and he always seemed to know how to make her feel better. It was between them though, no one else. ]

Not a lot really. Everything was Christmas themed yesterday-from real snow to the hot drinks and gifts. It was weird. I mingled a little and then had Helen Magnus over for tea.

That was about it.

[ If he hadn't jumped on her then Rose would have done it to him but perhaps more forcefully, given the strength she had. Pressing into the kiss with a growl, she grabs the hem of his shirt and begins to tug it upwards, intending to get it off him as soon as possible. Problem being, they would have to break apart to become undressed and Rose was feeling reluctant to move away from him because everything he did felt good. ]

[ He makes a start to wrestle out of the shirt but eventually the reluctance over separating from her for even a second wins out and he opts to rip it instead. Black t-shirts are a dime a dozen, he can afford to lose one in the heat of battle.

Speaking of, he'll be pushing her towards the bedroom rather decisively and with surprisingly secure steps. No fumbling here, even if the arousal is damn near strong enough to make him unaware that he's moving at all. ]

[ She would thank him for doing that but Rose was preoccupied at the moment, nipping and sucking at his lips whilst her hands start to explore the newly exposed skin. It had been too damn long since she got to do this.

And Rose will allow Spike to push her in that direction, hands seizing his hips so that she can tug him along and make the whole journey that much quicker. She tries to take his jeans off at the same time but that might have to wait until they actually reach the bedroom; it's a good thing that he has good balance.]

	[ She'll at least be able to do a little pre-work, even if pushing his jeans off his hips would be a tremendously bad idea before they reach the bed. [ He doesn't mind taking the blame one bit. It's actually pretty flattering, knowing that he can push her to this level of desperation. Not that he's particularly far off of course and between wriggling out of his own jeans, battling whatever clothes she's got left on her body and kissing her as deeply and passionately as he's capable of it's a good thing breathing isn't a thing. ]

Definitely ready, hard and willing, muscles trembling with anticipation as he moves into position. He doesn't push against her just yet though, despite the unbearable desire. There's something about this that speaks to the man in him rather than the demon and so he waits just long enough to drop a handful of words over his lips. ]

Just the feel of him like this against her was enough to whet Rose's appetite, make it all the more sweeter. Like she said before, he was worth the wait and that rung true right about now. ]

Thank you. [ Rose will accept those words because she knows how she feels about him and how good he has been to her in the time they've been together. Spike may still carry a torch for that other woman but he does care about her, that much was certain.] You're pretty amazing too, Spike.

[ With Harmony, he hadn't cared about the dilemma of Dru. He just wanted to drown the pain and that blond, bubbly cheerleader had proven to be just the ticket for a while, but that wasn't the case with Rose. She wasn't a replacement — although it had certainly started out as a way to fill the bed — and if Dru would show up one of these days..? It would make things a whole lot more complicated, but he didn't exactly see himself leaving this bed and this apartment and this woman for her.

Especially not since she might just be on her way of undoing the damage Dru had caused.

The response is met with a grin that soon melts into a kiss and then he presses in against her, hips angled to ease their joining. They literally have all the time in the world and although he's pretty impatient, he's not in any rush to get this over with quick and dirty. ]

[ Being with Damon back home had offered Rose some comfort and she could see that losing herself in someone was a good way to make it not hurt. This with Spike was something she never expected to find and Rose is very reluctant to let it go, believing it to be the best thing that's happened to her in a long, long time.

She'd fight tooth and nail to keep a hold of him.

Neither is Rose in a rush, as she slowly pushes against him to help things along and feel Spike sink in that much deeper. Her arms and legs envelop his body fully, lips parting immediately so that he could get a proper taste of her.]
