Day 226 l Christmas Party Mingle
[Ianto has, predictably, gone a bit overboard for the Christmas party he and Jack are throwing. The entire apartment has been decorated; there's a tree with gold and silver ornaments and twinkling lights, garlands draped over doorways, candles in every window and festive nicknacks scattered about. It looks like something out of a magazine, and may make visitors a little afraid to actually touch anything. There's also a lot of mistletoe around (one of the side effects of living with Captain Jack Harkness) so it's probably a good idea to keep one eye on the ceiling at all times.

Of course he's made plenty of coffee and some appetizers, so he hopes people really do respond to the invitation Jack sent out, otherwise there are going to be a hell of a lot of leftovers.]

	Thanks. Ianto did most of the decorating, but I helped out a bit. Added that essential touch of chaos to his perfection, or something like that, apparently! Uhuh. [He gives her an innocent look that probably just solidifies the idea in her head that the alien thing is just a ruse, and then grins, glancing up at the mistletoe and then back down at Raven.]

Oh my, look what we're standing under! I wonder how on earth that happened! [With a wicked twinkle in his eye.] I suppose we'd better do something about it. Can't fly in the face of tradition, after all!

[He grins, accepting her acceptance, and steps in close, one hand moving to lightly cradle the side of her head while his own head tilts the other way as he kisses her, warm and brief and relatively unassuming. It probably goes on longer than other people’s would in the same situation, but hopefully not long enough to really fluster her. He’s trying to keep in mind that she doesn’t seem quite as outgoing as some of those he normally flirts with.]
