226 [Action] | Closed party for Merlotte's employees
[Sam has encouraged his employee's to take the holiday off to go and enjoy the snow or festivities while they last (This is part of their gift from him). He won't force people to leave if they insist on working but Merlotte's probably won't be very busy anyway.

Later this evening he'll close the bar down for a christmas party he's throwing for his employee's. They've been told they can bring one guest of their choosing, be it a friend, significant other or a family member! Food, drinks, music, gifts, the whole shebang just for his wonderful volunteers. Happy Holidays!]

Buffy - A silver necklace With a thicker made chain so if she needs to use it ...
Sookie - A pair of earrings
Lacus - A Lotus necklace
Rose - A bottle of red wine
Spike - A bottle of whiskey-- Both packaged together "For the happy couple. Seasons Greetings. Sam"

These are great. [And he's kind of honored he's getting to have a taste of something from Aidan's home, his childhood, something kind of special even if it's such a simple small thing.]

It's always that way huh? Never quite as good as mom's but it does the trick.

[He could remember some things his mom used to make him, before they abandoned him, but it brought back the good memories of them at least.]

Yeah, there is that. I kinda meant more that Mom's somehow always seem t'make things better. Like they do somethin' different. But it ain't, it's jus' the same recipe yet it always tastes better.

It ain't that sad, actually. 'Least, I don't think it is. It's just one of those things that get you down durin' th' holidays, if you can't be with your family. [ Little shrug. ]

Anyway... basically, I left home after graduation. I was just plannin' on bein' gone for a while, see th' world... I ain't got no siblings or nothin' and my parents agreed that it'd be a good idea to get out there and have an adventure before settlin' down to take over th' farm and start a family.

[ Did you know that about your employee, Sam? This is a boy who quite seriously would want six kids. ]

Farm huh, somehow that sounds fittin' for you Aidan. [It's really no surprise. The farm thing. Though... knowing what he does he IS a little surprised about the 'starting a family' bit.]
