[ It's the first ~~annual~~ ~~monthly~~ ~~bi-weekly~~ — it's the first Memorial Garden Committee meeting! The invitations have been sent, a couple of park benches in Sector 0 have been claimed and there's even a few plates of home-made cookies put out in case the allure of fast food on a stick wasn't enough. How can you resist? That's right, you can't!

The instigator to all this is pretty nervous but once the clock strikes noon he clears his throat and kicks off the meeting the only way he can. ]

Alright, so… some of all y'all might remember me talkin' 'bout puttin' together a Memorial Garden for all our friends who've disappeared a while back. Now, I know we already got some o' that stuff 'round here but this would be somethin' we'd create all on our own. We'd decide what t' plant in it an' tend to it an' pool our rehab points together to get seeds an' plants or whatever else we need.

There ain't no pressure to help out. We do what we can, alright? What we're good at. I'm happy to help anyone who don't know how t' grow things an' wants to learn, but th' important part is that we all get a chance to have a say in this. This is where this comes in. Just write down your ideas an' we'll gather it all up an' make sure everyone gets somethin' they want.

[ He gestures to a SUGGESTION BOX set out with a stack of paper and some pens for all your suggestive needs. ]

Alright... that's all I had t' say. You go on an' talk amongst yourselves an' have fun!

[Despite what happened in the bar, Lacus can't truly blame Tyki for it. It's his nature. Being here, however, in a transparent ploy to pester Aidan, she can and does blame him for. Not that she can do much about it, but she can keep half an eye on him and try to distract him a bit.]

Those clothes suit you. Surprisingly so.

[She smiles and takes a seat, but as ever there's more to her expression than simply a smile.]

What those around me would prefer is for me to cancel the license. [She glances down at her blue banded wrist.] And it probably would be the strategically sound course.

But every time I consider it, I find myself wavering. [Not to say she won't cancel it, but perhaps there's a better way to do so rather than in a frantic, half-considered panic.] I wonder why that might be.

He raises his brows and strikes up a match, lighting a cigarette between his lips.] As for problems, love. My reputation around here can't get any worse as it is.

[He chuckles.] Granted, news of me seducing the former DF idol with my cruel and wicked ways would be a fantastic spiral of gossip, now wouldn't it.

Seduced, hm. [She's not exactly challenging his words, but the emphasis is just enough to say that she's entirely sure she was not the swooning maiden he's just made her out to be.]

[She also notes that they're another step removed from the sidestepping they were doing that morning after. Which pleases her, if only because it will be easier to sort herself out with things back to relative normalcy.]

My opinion's not what will end up mattering. [When other people find out. He figures it will play out a lot like he said; he's the negative influence that's drowning the white light down with a band around her wrist. He's sure that's already how it's going down, in fact.]

I know I'm not sure I'm capable of convincing you to do anything against your will, swayed or otherwise. [He takes a drag of his cigarette.] Neither of us needed convincing as I recall.

You may surprise yourself someday when it comes to convincing me. [It depends entirely on what carrot he's using.] But no, there wasn't much discussion necessary. Aside from whether to bother with visiting the kiosk first.

[She's smiling a little, since the memory isn't a bad one. At the moment it was a wonderfully happy time. Hindsight, of course, is what it is.]
