[ It's the first ~~annual~~ ~~monthly~~ ~~bi-weekly~~ — it's the first Memorial Garden Committee meeting! The invitations have been sent, a couple of park benches in Sector 0 have been claimed and there's even a few plates of home-made cookies put out in case the allure of fast food on a stick wasn't enough. How can you resist? That's right, you can't!

The instigator to all this is pretty nervous but once the clock strikes noon he clears his throat and kicks off the meeting the only way he can. ]

Alright, so… some of all y'all might remember me talkin' 'bout puttin' together a Memorial Garden for all our friends who've disappeared a while back. Now, I know we already got some o' that stuff 'round here but this would be somethin' we'd create all on our own. We'd decide what t' plant in it an' tend to it an' pool our rehab points together to get seeds an' plants or whatever else we need.

There ain't no pressure to help out. We do what we can, alright? What we're good at. I'm happy to help anyone who don't know how t' grow things an' wants to learn, but th' important part is that we all get a chance to have a say in this. This is where this comes in. Just write down your ideas an' we'll gather it all up an' make sure everyone gets somethin' they want.

[ He gestures to a SUGGESTION BOX set out with a stack of paper and some pens for all your suggestive needs. ]

Alright... that's all I had t' say. You go on an' talk amongst yourselves an' have fun!

[Calliope really isn't comfortable about being in crowds, but she wanted to at least come by in passing. It is due to out and out curiosity, on many levels—coming from a species that is (normally) asocial, things like memorial gardens are an utterly foreign concept.]

[But Calliope is not normal, and she likes learning about cultural practices. This definitely qualifies.]

[So here she is, wearing one of those god-awful shark hoodies tugged down to try and hide her face, and gloves on her clawed hands. The green-cheeked cherub is lingering close enough to listen, but still trying to keep her distance.]

[... at least until she notices the cookies. Then all bets are off, and she's making a very polite raid on the refreshments table.]

[Calliope blinks at that last one. Red flags are going up in her head. It's one thing to start a fire with Caliborn. It's another to show him exactly how to do it, and then be approached in such a way.]

Er-... I like to study the history and cultures of alien races, and to write and draw.

That likely doesn't sound too thrilling, but what I study involves your kind! There's a legend about heroes from two iterations of two universes. They face an invincible demon and escape the cycle of time that perpetuated their situation. [She is beaming and giddy by the end. She hopes that was entertaining, or that maybe Damara has heard of it. Or is involved.]

[Surely, Damara can't be so much like Caliborn that she'd be annoyed by something as benign as interest in trolls.]
