[Caliborn also gets bored when most people are asleep, though he is starting to form some plans around at least making their nights a little less pleasant. For now, though, he's going to the arcade to spend his time awake.]

Sleep wise you need to be tired both mentally and physically, so make sure you're exercising both your mind and your body. Blue light disrupts sleep patterns so stay away from bright screens before bed. And if you can't get your brain to shut off, write it down to get it out of your head.

Counting sheep does not work, but counting backwards by 3s is just tricky enough to shift your brain into neutral

I have occasionally dabbled in storytelling over the centuries. [Literal-sounding answer, but he trusts the life experience part of "a story to tell" is implied clearly enough.] Not so much the raunchy kind or bedtime stories, perhaps, but if you have other requests - interests, as it were - I might comply.
