But you are—and don't take this the wrong way, because I'm speaking from a point of teratological curiosity here; once a nerd, always a nerd—you're dead. Whereas I am very much alive. Having those dormant genes awakened and then reawakened may've not been the most comfortable experience of my life, but it certainly didn't kill me. Yet you, I'm assuming, had to die before your vampirism took effect. Correct?

	You are correct, Nikola. I had to die before I became a vampire. One has to die with vampire blood in their system before they awake again in a stage known as 'transition.' If they don't drink human blood within a day, then they'll die. Drink human blood, and they become a full vampire. That is how it works in my world. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
