I believe it has something to do with the dimensional stabilizer. Whether you have duplicate people or not, there are going to be instabilities introduced by such a pan-dimensional place as this. The stabilizer, from what I understand, is designed to prevent those issues and keep this particular world from facing potential collapse by the very nature of its existence.

[Though, much of what Tieria remembered from his actual attempt to gain access to the stabilizer was blurred from the two-year memory dump that had been triggered by his presence in the system. He hated having had that knowledge in his grasp only to have it buried in a flux of weird overlapping memories that made no sense.]

[ nikola would be similarly frustrated, were he in tieria's shoes. he's interested in getting close to the stabilizer, but he's not foolish enough as to believe he has a chance of getting that close to it this soon. an attempt will be made at some point, no doubt, but later rather than sooner. he's regarding this as something of a vacation at the moment, given that he wasn't really doing much of anything back home in the wake of that nonsense with afina in east africa, so he's not really in any rush to start poking around and working on a way out dodge. ]

Of course, of course. Have there been any glitches known to occur with this stabilizer they're using to keep the place from imploding in on itself?
