[A smile comes to her face at the mention of Dawn.] She's...a good kid. [It's instinct to say she's an annoying little sister or gripe about how she raides her closet, but that's not how Buffy really feels about her sister. She died to save her once. She'd do it again. Never mind that Dawn is eighteen, in college and no longer a kid.]

[ elena can undersand the 'annoying' and 'griping' response. even though lately she and jeremy have been through so much, he's still her little brother. he's still headstrong and doesn't do the dishes. (elena misses it, grieves for it in a similar way she does her parents - she holds on and cherishes it because she could lose him too.) ]
