[In pleasing contrast to the growing exhaustion that is becoming routine, Saya woke full of energy. She even beat Hei out of bed and wasted no time with silly things like appearance before venturing out in search of breakfast, hair finger-combed and feet bare. (Fortunately she had the presence of mind for a simple sundress, but only just.) She's bouncing, near literally, from restaurant to restaurant, ordering a full compliment at each of them and barely sitting still long enough to clean the plates before hurrying to the next. She can't seem to stop laughing...]

[It's difficult to pinpoint when or where, but at some point she changed her mind entirely. Her disinterest only applies to the mundane sort of food, though -- a drink sounds like just the thing, from a willing donor or... perhaps, unwilling might be fun... or a fight, maybe. Just someone to play with. She'll decide on a game later.]

[Her stalking around is mostly outdoors, and in between playmates she's busy tearing apart the hems of her dress, alternating long, slow threads and short, jagged rips as her mood suits. As soon as she spots anyone, Saya starts her approach -- whether they want company doesn't especially matter. C'mon, it'll be fun.]

((OOC: Obviously emotions may vary, but generally if you tag her in a restaurant I'll assume you want gigglier Saya and anywhere else you want the seductive playful Queen Saya. Attacks or blood-drinking are very possible if you want them but I will only do so with OOC permission))

Maaaaybe. [Saya leans forward, invading Laura's space just enough to see what she'll do.] I was thinking something fun might happen, but that's sort of up to you.

[Laura does not move away, but she does follow Saya's movements with some amused confusion.] I do not understand what you mean. Are you asking to...hang out?

Yes! [Saya giggles and claps like Laura's just won a game they were playing. Then she loops an arm through Laura's and grins up at her.] What should we do? You pick.

[She does not remember Saya being this...physical. But it makes Laura happy for some reason--if she can consider this light feeling in her chest happiness. She stiffens a little when Saya touches her, but does not react beyond that.]

I do not know. I do not "hang out" much. [Not since the school went on lockdown and the students were told to remain on the premises as much as possible.] Cessily says that girls shop together.

[Laura thinks about it for a moment before nodding.] If you want. I have not done enough today. We should go to a more secure location.

Great! Let's go. [Saya takes off at blinding speed -- only to stop a dozen feet ahead. She's so quick it's like the teleported the distance.] Wait, where's that?

[So being a vampire grants her speed like a speedster, Laura realizes. It is interesting. It is always strange how absent-minded Saya is about using her powers this way today. Usually she is more restrained. Laura is happy that she feels that unrestricted with her. She wants Saya to stay that way.]

The training fields would be good. They do not have a lot of foilage.

[Laura is not a hugger or a toucher. She is not someone who is used to others being so hands on. She still had not been used to Cessily hugging her. But still, it would be awkward to leave Saya's hand extended like that so she reaches out and takes it. Thankfully she is faster than the average human, but not as fast as Saya is going.]

Why do we need to rush?

Rush? -- Oh. [As if just now realizing her speed, Saya slows down... marginally.] I guess I just feel really energetic. It's nice! I've been pretty tired lately.

[Laura smiles. Yes, a genuine, noticeable smile.]

It is good to feel that way. [Perhaps she should not mention that she is certain something is influencing their feelings. Why should she ruin it for Saya?] Have you changed your diet? [That can increase energy, right?]

[Hey, that's a real smile! Saya beams all the more. It must be a good day to have everyone so happy.] Not really. I've had to drink more since I'm so tired, but this morning I didn't even have to.

[As soon as they arrive, Saya whirls around to pick up a training sword. Usually she'd use her real one, but it's at home.]

[Laura considers those words, wondering what this might mean for Saya. If she is tiring faster, is she dying? Do vampires die that way? It is confusing, but not important right now, when Saya looks so happy. She can always ask her later on.]

Do we need weapons? [Laura knows how to use a sword, but her skill is not nearly as good with it as it is with her own hands.]

Ready? [Saya's eyes flash red as she drops into a ready stance, her smile turning sharp. Not unfriendly, just fiery in a way it wasn't until now.]

[The change in Saya's eyes is undeniable, and something about it makes Laura feel...warm. Filled with anticipation. It has been some time since she fought an opponent equal to herself or greater. She takes a stance of her own, hands at the ready, but her claws still not extended.]

Ready.

[Saya moves with the same blinding speed as before, virtually disappearing where she stood. She doesn't doubt Laura will be able to follow, so there's no holding back as she charges, flips, and strikes.]

[And just as Saya moves, Laura also dodges, then comes back for a strike from behind. Saya is obviously faster than Laura, but she she cannot hide the sound of her movements, even at that speed. She doesn't hold back when she drives her fist toward Saya's neck.]

[Saya laughs freely as she grabs Laura's fist and pivots, putting her hip against Laura's lower stomach in an attempt to throw her -- or, that was the intent. The contact is strangely sweet and her eyes flare brightly in response. Instead of a throw, Saya leaves her feet to try and tackle Laura backwards. She's very strong, but it wouldn't surprise her if Laura could match that strength. In fact, it would be nice.]

[She is stronger than the average human, but she's not as strong as Wolverine. Still, she's more than skilled at using her opponents weight and momentum against them, to the point that she as Saya tackles her backward, Laura pushes her feet under her to flip them, trying to bodyslam Saya to the ground and pin her.]

[Because it might be fun, Saya lets Laura slam her to the ground. She feels her skin scrape and bleed, but it instantly starts healing over and Saya only issues a teeth-bearing grin as she squirms pleasantly.] You're a good training partner.

[Planting one foot, Saya wrenches her body upwards to try and flip them over.]

[Laura tries to hold her down, but Saya's strength greatly outreaches her own and Laura ends up hitting the ground with an aching grunt. But she is not angry. No she is excited. She hasn't felt this alert and revitalized in such a long. Possibly not since the time she and Megan stole the principal's car.

Her smile is a bit more vicious this time.] So are you. [And then she'll try to headbut Saya in the face.]

[There's been a fundamental shift here, and Saya can feel it all the way through herself. She moves to meet Laura's headbutt, trying to catch Laura's lip between her teeth. Not to bite (not hard anyway) but just... because the mood struck. Chuckling the whole time, her hips and hands pushing down on Laura's body.]

[The attack is cut off abruptly by those teeth on her lip and Laura's eyes widen more to stare at Saya in confusion. What is she doing? She holds her breath. She is confused but not upset. She still feels happy and excited. For what reason she is not sure.]

[Saya giggles around her bite and slowly drags Laura's lip through her teeth to release it. She doesn't move otherwise, face hovering close, her wet lips forming a slow smile.] I like you. Have I said that before? Well, I do.
