There’s a growl coming from that dark alley over there, a snarl from the shadow of that tree, a scratching of claws against pavement and gravel. Behind you? In front of you? Left? Right? A large hulking shadow is there just out of the corner of your eye and then gone. A game of predator and prey has begun without anyone’s permission.

The wolf won over Oz’s control today. In wolf form, Oz is still bipedal but also able to creep around like a quadruped. He’s covered in black fur with coal black eyes, sharp teeth and claws that can deal heavy and deadly damage. Depending on the time of day in which you catch him, Oz might still be fighting the transformation and able to (somewhat) understand what’s happening around him. The later it gets in the day, the more wolf he will be. By the end of the night, he’ll end up in sector six with the rest of the animals.

ooc: Please let me know in an added ooc note on your thread or through my plurk how much damage it’s okay to deal to your character. It’s okay to damage the wolf too, but he will deal back what he’s given and run if he gets too injured like any wild animal would.

It takes the wolf a moment to realize he's losing his dinner. But when he does, the beast is after her again, tromping behind her as if the very Earth moved beneath him as each massive paw landed and sprung away with each step. One arm reaches out just outside of the bowling alley, grabbing at her shoulder but not hard enough to hold on. His claws, however, leave more shredded material and angry bleeding claw marks from her shoulder down to her wrist before he looses hold on her completely again.

Martha cries out again at the claws in her flesh and kicks behind her hoping to catch him enough for him to pause. And then the door is open and she's knocking a trash can over behind her. If she can find the utility door, get behind the lanes. All five of them. And hopefully there's a door to the back.

She slows just long enough to lob two six-pound balls at the creature before turning and sprinting for the next door.

Thanks to that knocked over trash can, the wolf only gets halfway through the bowling alley door before in swings closed. He has to decide whether to try to squeeze forward or backward. And since that trashcan just inside is blocking his way forward, the easiest plan is to back the rest of the way back outside. The wolf may have four paws, but in this form, he doesn't work doors very well. Martha was smart to get inside.

Once he's wiggled his way back out, he stalks back and forth outside on the steps to the bowling alley for a few brief moments before turning away to find something new to hunt.

The crash of bowling balls knocking into the trash can unaccompanied by any animal sounds alerts Martha to the fact that the creature had not followed her inside. She slows and turns her head, only to see it turn away.

Wary of trickery, Martha grabs another bowling ball and stays in the alley, listening in case it comes in a different door.

She's good at staying still, good at hiding, and excellent at listening. After waiting long enough for the chances of a second attack to decrease, she finally drops the bowling ball and begins hurrying home. As fast as her bleeding self can run.
