[ she understands. sookie's safe, and certain restrictions and dangers are not an issue for him here. still, she pulls in a breath after a moment of thought because: ] Just because it's simpler doesn't mean it's home. [ what she means is, isn't there anything he misses? values? from where he's from? is it home to him? does he have one, or has roaming the world for a thousand years made the idea obsolete or easily changed? ]
