[Eric wakes with a start, a headache and an oddly full feeling that only comes from feeding on blood rather than the bottled stuff. Sookie is already gone for the day, which is normal but there isn't any blood staining the sheets. He's got a whole new set of memories and he's not crazy about some of them. He shuffles off to the shower and spends an inordinate amount of time in there going through the new memories. He's not terribly pleased by some of them. He's not terribly pleased by a lot of them, but the most 'recent' ones, the one featuring Russell's demise...that's one he plays over and over. Revenge is sweet and makes a Viking Vampire a cocky bastard, especially when said cocky vampire wakes up one more to find he's the oldest most powerful vampire in his world. That tickles a little in all the right places. It gives him an extra happy to know that his willpower is way more than rock solid, even more than he'd thought it could be. By the time he gets out of the shower, he's whistling. Sure, not everything back home was going according to plan. There was that perpetual pain in his ass named Bill Compton, but Eric had time to figure that one out.]

[Eric is smiling when the video comes up. Sure, it's his politician smile, but he's only got three kinds of smiles and this one is more friendly than his 'I am better than all of you. Now bow down and be my minion' smile, which is honestly the smile he wants to use. The only other option is his genuine, happy smile and very few people are ever privy to that one. He's wearing an outfit quite typical of Eric at work: black slacks and a black silk shirt, unbuttoned to the third button. He leans on the bar, a glass of synthetic blood at his elbow.]

What an extraordinary day, wouldn't you all agree? I do feel like celebrating. Come join me. [A well rehearsed chuckle.] The drinks are on me.
