[Ianto looks as though this all is no more than a mild inconvenience for him, to be resolved momentarily. It’s a lie, of course, and there’s real worry in his eyes if you look for it, but he’s not going to panic just yet. Wouldn’t be the first time he’s been held hostage by aliens or robots or whatever. Might as well try and calmly get some information before working on the inevitable escape plan.]

Hello. Sorry, I know there was that recording and all but I wonder if anyone would be able to give me a bit more information about what’s going on? [A faint smile.] Call it a tendency to distrust authority, AIs or otherwise.
