Day 196 || Group 4's Therapy Session
[ Once approached, there's a little table set just inside the entrance way with crayons and name tags ready for the various inmates called to participate in this particular therapy session. Yes, Group 4, you are being called on to be creative with your name tag. Do try not to hold up the line ♥

Inside, there's another table laid out with tea and water, another for coffee. There's a few snacks as well. Fruit, mostly, some pastries. There is also a sign that clearly reads "Do not eat outside this area." No sense getting sick by accidentally drinking the water you used to clean out your brushes after all!

But, honestly. This is a Healing through the Arts session and as such, the various stations in the room are set up in 2's and 3's for your use. Finger painting by the easels. Build your own frame out of colored macaroni. A coloring station for those of a less creative bent, and even a "basket weaving station" for those who want to untangle their frustrations. ]

At each station, one will find a series of random questions:

1. What color best describes you? List three adjectives to explain your choice.
2. What was the weirdest food you've ever eaten?
3. What do you think the most ultimate gift of the world is.
4. What makes you feel the most secure?
5. Who do you admire the most?
6. What is your concept of a fruitful day?
7. Is the glass half empty or half full? What is in the glass?
8. What is something you have lost that you have never found, or were tremendously relieved when you did find it?
9. If you wrote a book about yourself...what would it be about?
10. When have you laughed the hardest? Cried?
11. Or pick out your own

((ooc: Feel free to rotate around the stations or make up your own art activities. The theme of this therapy session is to expose/get in touch with your inner self. Threads for name tags and refreshments will be started otherwise just set up your own character in a thread at whatever station you choose.))

A handful of sisters and my mother and father, of course. We're a close family even if I don't see them as much as I would like. [ and extremely patriotic but most families were, in her day and age. They were either close or simply fell apart. ]

Were you an only child?

Yeah, it was just me an' my folks... I had a bunch of cousins though. Aunts an' uncles too, of course so it didn't really feel like it was just me. We were real close too... th' whole village, really, even if we weren't all blood related.

[ Bitter nostalgia. If you guessed that he's homesick, you'd be guessing right. ]

[ she's heard that note a hundred times and more. She's honestly surprised she hasn't heard more of it at all during her brief time here. ]

Things are always more interesting in a large family like that, I've found. Unless, of course, you were constantly getting into trouble. It would be difficult to be a child who liked a little bit of mischief now and then, wouldn't you agree?

[ her smile turns slightly apologetic as she continues dabbing at her painting, using it as an excuse to allow Aidan to have his moment. ]

[ He chuckles softly. ] Yeah, I guess. Can't say I didn't do that from time t' time, but my parents raised me pretty good. It wasn't nothin' too bad... only ever stole apples really, but everyone did that. They kinda let us at it, to tell you th' truth.

'Course... I got into plenty of trouble later. Wouldn't be here if I didn't, right?

[ a chuckle to warm the heart that was ] I see. And if that's the only crime on your list, I must say you've gotten the raw end of the deal. A few stolen apples should never be considered a crime. [ especially if he's already paid the price for it ]

Nah, I know why I'm here. Ain't no way 'round that... How 'bout you? You get in trouble when you were a kid?

Of course. I was frequently being scolded for not attending to my lessons. And a lady should never run barefoot through the house.

I had very strict grandparents. [ She smiled then, indulgent, nostalgic. They were very loving grandparents after all. ]

Oh, so they helped raise you then? [ A touch of envy there. Strict or not, he lost his grandparents some time ago. ]
