[After too long holed up at home, Ritsuka has decided to go out. What better weather to do so than sunny with clear "skies"? None that he can think of.

Ritsuka's destination of choice? Sector 0, naturally. He wants to try the street food - all of the street food - and make memories. This amounts to him snapping photos, mostly of Soubi. But he wants at least one or two photos of the two of them together, so there's a good chance he'll be approaching any inmates who happen to pass by (the robots don't take good pictures).]

[ooc: please label your thread as with Ritsuka OR Soubi but NOT both. Allie and I are trying to get back into the swing of things so we're going to start out slowly, and group threads get too confusing.]

[ Soubi is holding a basket of french fries in one hand, a crepe drizzled with chocolate on a plate in the other. a bag of roasted chestnuts is tucked under one arm. today's express purpose is to try all the street food, according to Ritsuka, so he's been collecting several varieties--as much as he can carry. ]

Sasha. [ his smile is only slightly sheepish. this food isn't all for him, honest. ] I'm doing well. [ as he manages to shift the bag of chestnuts into a jacket pocket. ] I don't suppose you'd like a fry?

[ Bak's been watching the proceedings from the sidelines, munching on some awful processed food called a "hotdog" and generally being annoyed because he's still eating a hotdog even though it's horrendous. ~~one would think he'd learn~~.

Coughing, he slides up to Soubi and whispers at him while Ritsuka is occupied. ]

You shouldn't let him eat that stuff. There's hardly any nutritional value in it at all!

[ sorry, Bak. Soubi is kind of a jerk, even when you're expressing concern. ]

I don't think there's any problem. He was used to eating things far worse than this. [ Ritsuka's favorite food at home is a Big Mac. no joke. but not here! no sir! with Soubi cooking, there's not been a single hamburger dinner in the last month, at least. it's something to be proud of. ] I make sure he eats well most of the time.

[ castiel hands the camera back to ritsuka and watches him dart off to one of the food carts. how does something his size eat that much? he's not even sure that he could stuff down all that food, and he's pretty much a bottomless pit. ]

I've never taken a photo before. [ he may sound a little bit embarrassed, and then he covers with a stunning statement: ] I've been in one, though.

[ it's a mystery, really. Soubi doesn't eat half that much, either. but Ritsuka's grown up in large part on a diet of fast food, which probably has something to do with it. ]

It wasn't bad, for a first attempt. [ he'd seen the picture in question for just a moment as Ritsuka had reviewed it before scampering off. it might have been a little off-center, but at least Castiel hadn't cut their heads off. in fact, it had been just off-center enough that it might be said that Castiel had accidentally implemented the rule of thirds. ] Just one?

[ he can actually sort of relate. sure, he's had more pictures taken of himself within the last year or so than he could possibly count--but before that, hardly at all. his childhood caretaker hadn't cared much about it, and consequently, neither had Soubi. ]
