[ Claire's been thinking about this for a few days. She's spoken to more than one vampire in a brief period of less than a week, and she's had Angel to think about before that. She's curious, and since she can't die... She can regenerate her blood... Maybe there's something she can do to make their lives easier. ]

So, I'm curious. How many vampires are here, exactly? What do you guys do for food? Somebody mentioned the blood bar but -- that's gotta get old, right? I mean, it's not like I know - I've never had blood, I'm not a vampire, I don't get the difference. French fries and chocolate milk all the way for me. Guess I'm just wondering.

No offense, and maybe you're not, but you're sure actin' like it. Have you been informed on this topic at all? Vampires from my world would automatically assume you're a fangbanger with the way you're talking, hun.

[ she wouldn't be surprised if eric's already gotten that impression, as she sees him chattering away up there. with the right vampire, this sort of thing is a disaster waiting to happen. who even knows what the rules of vampires not from her world (or elena's, as she's been briefed quite a bit on how their breed works) handle that. ]

Look. I know enough about vampires to know they're not warm and fuzzy all the time. They don't exist where I'm from, but I've made friends with a couple of them. I'm not looking to jump into bed with a vampire. I'm talking about splitting a vein open and letting them drink something fresh for a change. It's no different than me wanting to give cupcakes to the whole dome. Just... People who can't really eat cupcakes. I mean, I made blood cakes for this one red-head -- Sophie-Anne, I think? She was plenty nice and hasn't tried to rip my throat out. Not like it'd stay ripped out anyway.
