The club should be a group to which the character you post with identifies, or otherwise has a vested interest in. For instance, Saki and Anew may already be ICly creating a "Dead Back Home Club"! Fletcher can make the "Bring Sentience Back Club"!

Arguably, the case with Roxas, whose tiny amount of screentime at the front of KH2 and very rare appearances like twice in the rest of the game resulted in fan uproar about how he deserved so much better, resulting in much more detail on him in the Final Mix+, a game about him, a game about his expy Ven, and future hints that he's going to be back.

On the other hand, this was arguably the plan. (But I don't always believe Nomura has a plan.)
